From my count, there are 11 female characters in IA. I made a list of all-females to try to convince my wife to play with me (the idea was cute to her). Not competitive, but fun (3 force users w/ Leias command card, lol)

What lists have you made for someones 1st time w/ skirmish? What were your experiences?

That's awesome. I always let first timers use their fave figures and then let them win. LOL...in fact one time it was Chewy and Wookie Warriors so very thematic there!

you can consider the Allied Ranger, they are female too :-)

yup counted her. alliance rs are female on the card, so true

I was glad they made the Alliance Rangers female. WEG made an apparently random number of their several different rebel fleet troopers and Endor commandos female, WOTC barely followed in the footsteps of that. So the rangers were good to see, being as that FF only makes 1 pose of each trooper in a unit.

Any given droid can also be declared to be "female" too I'd guess. You just change their voice settings or something.

If you can find a way to get your wife to play, please let me know haha. I've yet to have a break through in that department as well.

My wife would play any boardgame they sold at Target, basically. If it had that veneer of normalcy she'd check it out. Hence I played a lot of Heroscape and the old D20 SW minis game back in the day.
