Every Friday morning Asmodee sends a weekly email to stores announcing items due to release in 13 days. Items due in stores on Thursday 05/31 should be in their email of Friday 05/18/18, just as items releasing Thursday 05/24 (Legion Leia, Legion Fleet Troopers, Catan 5-6 player reprint, Memoir '44 reprint, and Ghosts of Dathomir reprint) were in their email of the 11th.

Somehow I feel correct on this assesment as I too had camped out at my mailbox for two weeks waiting for a movie to arrive from Amazon

that said, if you preordered literally yesterday, your chances of release date arrival begins to decrease (unless they have a relatively small number to process). There is also the possibility that the book arrives early for those who preordered a while back.
