• Species are less clear: it seems to imply Tholothian , Thisspiasian , and Sith.
• Gear mentioned includes: "Lucky" blaster, Semblan obsidian dagger, Thisspiasian puzzle ring, vision vube, and Vurk meditation orb, Sith pain harness, and a heartwood blaster. Lightsaber attachments include: walking stick hilt disguise, Tholothian heartwood hilt, and Thisspiasian stabilizing coils.

Stoked for this! Any news on when the Warrior book is planned? That would be the last career correct?

On analysis, it seems the Vurk are the most likely third species. The article mentions both the Vurk meditation cube and the Semblan obsidian dagger (Sembla is the home planet of the Vurk). The Sith would be nice , but not entirely likely, especially as the Red Sith as a species is solely Legends. Unless we're getting four species.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the new specializations wasn't a reprint of Hermit.

Well, seems I was right about my guess that the Warrior sourcebook would be the last one to be released, likely long after the campaign in which I'm playing a Shii-Cho Knight has concluded.

Still, looking forward to this one, as the new specs certainly sound interesting.

So what new broken force power will we get?

Prophet umm wait don't we have Seer?

A seer and a prophet can be synonymous, but not necessarily always.

A seer is "someone who sees." In a religious or mystical context, this can refer to seeing visions. While a vision can be prophetic, it could also be visions of events happening elsewhere. It can also mean that seer can perceive through something in someway.

A prophet, of course, is tied to prophesies, but not always visions, and the usual application is someone who speaks for a deity, in a spiritual leader sense, which is what the article seems to reference more than seeing visions.

The Alchemist is something I'm stoked for, as is the possibility of creating medicines and/or poisons.

I kinda hope we get the Miraluka as a race for this. They seem like they'd be absolutely perfect for the Seer and Prophet specs.

Awesome sounding stuff, Alchemist especially.

Prophet could be more about spreading the prophecies in addition to seeking them, making a Social/Seer mix.

Interestingly none of the specs seem to be a an obvious semi Lightsaber tree. Perhaps Alchemist since its seemingly focused on equipment. But that's a stretch.

So, a Mystic book, huh? Seems pretty cool.

I'm guessing one of these trees will have 2 FP. Making the mystic the top (or tied?) FP career.

If one does, Mystic will be tied for top. My personal guess is the Magus would have it, if any.

A tiny bit disappointed they went with Magus and not Witch, but it's basically the same thing, and really, I can't keep the stupid grin off my face anyway !

Magus definitely sounds like the 2 FR spec. I really hope they go to town on the Alchemist for a very spiritual tech character.

Prophet/Advisor seems like it could be a really great combination for an interesting fringe character

Makes sense no lightsaber type Tree. It seems like one of the least Jedi related careers.

My iconic character, Kemna, is almost precisely a Seer/Prophet. I'm very happy with this!
