Shield rules question

By Chairmanyang00, in X-Wing Rules Questions

First off I want to apologize if this question has already been asked please forgive me as I am a green as grass rookie, only had my very first game of X-wing today. My friend and I were playing our very first intro game with the core set, we are veterans of the Star Wars Armada game so we know about the refreshing tokens rule in that game and were wondering if the shield tokens for the X-wing fighter refresh at the end of the turn ? We couldn't find a yes or no answer in the rule book so I thought I would ask the community.

Shields in X-wing can only be regained through specific card abilities, and those abilities are almost exclusively Rebel.

Look at the attack timing chart on page 8 of the FAQ. Shields are removed during the deal damage step. When something in X-wing is "removed" it is no longer in play.

Where is the best place to find the FAQ? I must be blind or something. I have looked all over the forums.

Follow thespaceinvader's link (above) and you'll find it. It's also worth downloading the pdf of the Rules Reference as well, as you can search it by keywords and quickly find specific rules you're after.

Thank you Jmswood, appreciate the help.
