Happy Friday, If you could ask Chris Allen any question what would it be?

By Cubanboy, in X-Wing

What has been your favorite meta and why?

Why aren't you answering?

Its not as much of a question, but I would ask him who has the high ground, then, when he pauses for a moment, I strike. Leaping onto the nearest object, I scream "Its over Chris, I have the High Ground" and run away, snickering.

I would ask him what his single biggest learning experience was in X-wing. Like a “ah-ha” moment where he looked at the game differently. Something that helped him move his game to a higher level.

Who the **** is Chris Allen, and why should I ask him anything?

Not even by a long shot... :-p

Are tie fighters blue or gray?

Are you aware hes colorblind?

Two questions...

1. Who are you? and...

2. Why should I really care?

Not being sarcastic, I am just ignorant of who he is and why I should care. This sounds worse than I meant it and should probably have been deleted.

Maybe I would ask him..."hey, nice to meet you. Wanna play X-wing, sometime?" That might be fun and enjoyable.

How much does he pay his cohosts to fabricate Mary sightings?

Wait, what is this thread? Why are people asking me questions? I still don't know if this is satire or not, nicely done!

Sorry, can't help you on TIE Fighters/crayons, I don't see color.

Mary just got home from work, actually.

@Kelvan are you in to go bribe FFG to copy boost on the A-Wing over to the TIE Advanced, if we copy Advanced Targeting Computer back onto the A-Wing when we're done?

Why Brunas? Ran out of character names in vanilla wow, this one stuck for whatever reason

Good story, I know

My favorite meta - I think this is a hard question. My gut says wave 7, "back when arcs mattered", but I think actually I was just bad and everything was new to me as it's around when I started playing.

Why am I like this? Why aren't you like this? Is it even worth having a laifu without your waifu?

Whoa, an actual question. So, I'm not really sure. Here's a couple:

The most recent has been on what "winning" the game really means. We see a lot of people complaining that towards the mid-late game, generally one person gets ahead on points and starts running/disengaging. Really, those people both shouldn't be complaining and are much more correct than I realized - when the game starts, because final salvo is idiotic, one player is already winning and it's on their opponent to figure out how to bring the game back

For actual gameplay related stuff, when I was first starting to actually try to be better at the game playing aces, the realization that I effectively got to respond twice to my opponent's movements with soontir. Once, by repositioning after they moved, but that I should actually be picking my next maneuver for soontir while doing actions, not playing on a turn by turn basis. Basically, the main goal was to put myself in a scenario where I couldn't be blocked with a specific maneuver next turn, not necessarily trying to put out a maximum amount of damage or whatever else.

And to all the "who?" questions: correct response

Of course he's not, because he's barely more than a child, he's paying you.

Mine was satire... had no idea you were colorblind.

Serious question then, favorite ship?

I told myself I wouldn't get involved in a Chris Allen circle jerk.

@Brunas I will only accept this trade if I can use ATC during snap shot.

Also I have a very similar story regarding my screen name and Master of Orion 2. I was a kid who couldn't beat the game. I gave it one last try, auto generated the character name and won. So it became good luck.

Who is the best Persona 5 waifu?

The correct answer is always Rise even though she's from P4.

Wait, how did I miss this question? Yes, the correct choices are Rise or the town bike for 4, and Futaba for 5. EZPZ

I guess you haven't seen any of the stele TV videos where they pop up a Picture of his favourite ship to get him excited

I won't make you go digging through all of SteleTV, haha. It's the TIE Aggressor, followed by the eta2 and lambda

How is Elvis, and have you seen him lately?

@Brunas

How many games/openings/videos did you go through in practicing FSR2 prior to your top 16 run at GenCon?
