Rogues + MSU?

Just for fun I wanted to see what happens in this dark alley subforum to list builds.

Here's one of mine. I think I tend to be okay at typical optimization, activation count etc.

I think immediately there are a few issues/possibilities: Ackbar sounds really fun. Should this really have a 6th ship also? Cracken? All hammerheads better?

Are the VCX's there merely for strategic shenanigans? Because it feels weird to have them with that many rogues. But I like the list. I'm a fan of a chaotic "what's gonna hit me next" type small ship fleet like this. All hammerheads would just make you change focus to close vs. ranged combat IMHO, which I think suits cracken better. Navigational hazards would be fun against the ISD/defiance meta with a mobile fleet like this with Madine.

Yeah, I feel like one/two strat VCX makes it easy to do some clean up, since there rest of my squadrons can put the hurt on. Also, gives me a way to move Jan.

Since you're issuing squadron commands in multiples of 2, it may make sense to downgrade one YT-2400 to a non-rogue, and use the points saved for...titles perhaps? JL and something for the HH's?

I would downgrade Solo and Dash to 2 additional 2400's, remove Jan and the VCX's, add a third HH and give the 3 of them TF Antilles. Because beside Garel's Honor, HH need/love TF upgrades.

Jaina's Light on the Flagship is always a good idea, at least you can sneak among obstacles to protect a little bit your Admiral, without suffering from it.

At least you reach 6 activations, which is fine with small bases.

Why Leia?

Why no hammerhead title?

Why no jainas light?

Why an odd number of squads?

How often do you intend on using squad commands because you have 49pts in non rogue.

How are you going to kill anything victory sized or bigger?

What stops your opponent bombing your flagship to death without reprisal?

I don't see how this list could destroy anything to be honest. Only 5 activations form an MSU this stripped down is not enough. Your TRC90s won't deal enough damage, your HHs are paper cannons (one shot, then they die) and an undefended flagship begging to be a top priority target. And I don't have an idea what are you planning to do with your fighter screen.
