Nerf the TIE Silencer!

I still think the TIE Silencer needs a buff more than it needs a nerf.

I don't want to **** it entirely before it's out but I'm pretty sure this is true too. It's an agility point fortress without regen or the evade action - autothrusters access helps there but it's still super vulnerable. Less so if the PS race cools off a bit, but still...

I wish it had had a bullseye arc or something.

I just wish it had something, an "oomph" that makes me excited to fly it.

It's just, basically, the same old imperial design with a few bells 'n' whistles.

I dunno, it looks like FFG is scared of trying out new things or be imaginative with imps, while they experimented with auzituck, scurrg, kimogila and the new launch mechanic for the bomber.

I think it's going to be pretty terrifying.

Most people in my area fly normal-arc ships.

I'm gonna have a **** of a time flying circles around them with stress-immune boost and barrel rolls.

I still have high hopes for the Debris action EPT.

Maybe i missed something but how is it stress immune?

Primed thrusters

It could be very powerful, but with all those green maneuvers, it could be a waste of a point.

Always adding value!

You ignore stress because you take ptl, use advanced sensors to take your two actions before dialing in a green and clearing the stress. This works even if you are overlapping an asteroid.

You've literally just had somebody give the correct answer, somebody else quote the correct answer, and still managed to give the wrong answer.

Good work. Sterling stuff.

You could do that too of course. Its not like there is only one correct answer. No need to be a jerk.

Primed Thrusters and PTL could be a fun combo.

Well, if repositioning out of arcs mattered something in the actual meta, the silencer may actually be an ok ship.

Pattern Analyzer with Advanced Sensors is where it's at. PTL before you move or PTL after you move. Be unstressed either way.

Anyway, the Silencer will be a terror to arced ships. It will, however, be very weak to high PS ordnance. A 3 agility ship without an Evade action can only ever get 3 total evades against ordnance, not matter how many other mods it has.

If the Silencer were scum it would have an illicit, droid, and turret slot along with the evade action and come in three points cheaper. Unless the dial is broken amazing this thing will just be the latest in a long line of Imperial ships that are still playing x-wing while the other factions are playing a whole other game. An arc dodger in a game where nobody has arcs is not an exciting prospect, doubly so at this price point.

“The high ground” was the dumbest thing I’ve heard in Star Wars, dumber than anything Jar Jar ever said. The high ground was about 10’ above Anakin and about 10 feet away. In Episode I we saw Obi Wan leap about 75-100 feet when he and Qui Gon were battling Darth Maul.

lol, in a way X-wing is much like Star Wars and not in theme but in movies. The first three were awesome. The next two, (no not the prequels, the ewok adventures) not so much. The Special Edition which could be sum up in the phrase Gredo shot first. Then we got the prequels which gave us hope but hope was the first step towards disappointment.

Waves 1-3 Star Wars is great X-wing is great.

4 and 5, we didn't like so much even though it sold.

6,7,8. OMG Gredo shooting first.
