Elrond's Son

Do you think the Brothers will get more table time as allies? Their readying ability is cheaper, orc is probably the most common enemy trait.

I don't see very many decks with the hero versions, do you have one?

2-handed deck (not enough questing power in solo)

Ally versions:
I like to make universal decks usable for most quests and I keep the decks build. For me there are more reliable/widely-usable options for allies.

Are you saying you don't think k the Ally versions will see play? I am a little confused.

Steed of the North is perfect for them, I had not thought of that. I don't own that set of cards yet.

This is my take on a Brothers deck.

They definittely will. But not for me. I like universal decks for all scenarios. But if you build decks for specific scenarios/cycles and you meet lots of Orcs there, then they are definitely excellent.

It is with one little flaw: as you want to use them repeatedly to kill/defend many enemies, you want to buff them and equip them with as many weapons/armors as possible and the steed takes up that very precious restricted slot. And in questing heavy scenarious I like to mount them.

Your decks: Dunedain Mark is actually event better then Elven Mail and does not use restricted slot. And I would swap Proud hunters instead of Wealt of Gondor. And of course the Steed would fit here perfectly ;).

Wow, eleven mail shouldn't be there. Whoops. You're right about the Mark. I need my restricted slots for Celebrian Stone and Armored Destrider.

I used a brothers deck all through Grey Havens / Dreamchaser. It's great in multiplayer too, often defending an obscene number of enemies at a time, although it relies on getting Elven Mail early and doesn't quest much at all.

I also once built a thematic Erestor deck for my blog that had Elladan in it just for his Tactics icon. It was actually a really fun deck if I recall, and I would definitely put ally Elrohir in it if I were to revisit it.
