Yours is pretty good. MacrossVF1 has been at it for a long time so he's super experienced & proficient.

It takes practice & time. You'll get there before you know it.

The Monarch Butterfly was a GR-75 transport used by the Rebellion and small smuggler groups to evade Imperial convoys. The ship's multicoloured paintjob was used to scramble sensors and confuse enemy fighters.

My only comment/suggestion is that maybe it should get a matte clear coat (a bit too shiny for my tastes) or possibly some weathering could be added.

It will definitely stand out on the mat.

Actually yeah. I was going to weather it. It's still not done.

Where can I get matte clear coat. The only thing I have is the clear spay paint from Home Depot.

That could work, if it's satin or matte.

I like Testors, but there are a lot of brands out there.

OK! Thanks. Checked what I use and I use Rust-Oleaum clear coat. So far so good!

Just a fine misting should do.

If you happen to use gloss, don't sweat it. Go over it again with the matte spray and it should fix it right up.

Just finished the Scurrg. Only thing I need to do is add engine glow and color! (Pictures coming soon. Can't find them......)

I like yours, they are not bad. I have to say that I always hate painting yellow, it always looks to bright to me. A friend of mine gave me some advice, which was to paint things yellow-brown, and then highlight with straight yellow. As this is supposed to create a dark / light tone combo that looks better to the eye than straight up yellow. I think this is what the gentleman who painted the mining guild tie-fighter you posted has done.
