So I loooooove this game... and I remembered that there was an original version that came out in 1987. is there anywhere where I can still get this? I looked on Ebay but no dice.

Well you're unlucky because I saw it like last year. You should try on ebay from foreign countries, I'd say. And try every week ! And try the "flea markets" if you live in america (and if you actually can say "flea market" in english :r )
