Thematic Rebels show lists?

I've flown a Ghost twice...maybe. A $40 ship I never field, it's kinda sad. I played Kanan/Biggs and it was so **** dirty, I couldn't bring myself to field it again. That should be remedied.

Any other ideas?

@HugeMcLargeTall - It's....kinda thematic. Do you plan to dock the shuttle to start? How do you fly the list?

I've made some tweaks to my original idea. I swapped out Zeb for an Intelligence Agent, thinking I could probably block at least one ship per turn (in proper range) with all the barrel rolls available. I removed the ABT from Ezra, as he'll want to be firing in arc as much as possible. With the points gained from dumping the ABT, I upgraded the Lothal Rebel to Chopper to make the Ghost something opponents do not want to run into. Lastly, I put the title on both the Ghost and Phantom, thinking there might be times when I'll want to start with the shuttle docked. The idea of a 5 k-turn followed by a 4 k-turn deployment of the shuttle is something I feel I must try at least once.

If Ezra is going to start docked, I don't think Op Spec is a good choice.

I absolutely agree. I don't think there will be a lot of scenarios where Ezra starts docked or isn't almost immediately deployed. I just wanted the titles because they're free and it may make sense in some match-ups. He'll have to be out there quickly to create more target priority confusion, otherwise the Ghost will get melted almost immediately (spoiler: it will still probably get melted almost immediately).

I got to play a couple games with this variant. Here are my take aways...

  • Zeb is a bad idea if I don't have the shuttle docked, which I won't most of the time. I think my idea of Intelligence Agent is a better choice.
  • Even a 5-die attack from Ezra with without a reroll is living at the mercy of dice variance. I rolled 5 blanks once, it was painful. I'm debating putting Targeting Computer on him, but I think that makes him just a little too fat.
  • Chopper wants to block, but I think I was flying everyone else too close to help with blocks, which meant there weren't a whole lot of actions for anyone. I need to hang back with the TIEs and the Shuttle to generate more quality shots by both Ezra and Chopper.
  • I barely made use of Hera crew. I think there are more opportunities to do that, like a 5-k right after a 5-k.
  • I have to be more cautious with the use of Sabine's tokens. She spent most of the game without Intensity available. He ability is pretty great without it, but probably need to consider how often I'll give up that evade token for an Ezra shot.

I think the only tweak I'm going to make for now is swap out Zeb for Intelligence Agent, like I planned. There are a lot of other options available (Intelligence Agent/Boshek, anyone??), but I don't want to completely change things around just yet.

Only used it once. You just fly the Phantom docked do as much damage as you can and when the Ghost is at less than half the shuttle goes off and can be hard to kill thanks to Ezra's ability and 3PO. Ion turret on Exra could help keep the Ghost alive a bit longer, didn't work out for me because big ships are annoying that way. (Not a good tournament list by the way. RIP MOV)

Oh, I have no delusions that any of this idea is tournament-worthy!

My version above kinda failed epically. Sabine or Rex would often die early, then it was just downhill from there. SO, while it's not 100% canon fluff, I think this is a significant improvement with Biggs. I might drop Chopper down to a Rebel and give Sabine Intensity again, but...we'll see. She shouldn't need the evade until Biggs dies, so I think making bumping Chopper really painful is more valuable.

[edit] - I went from adding Adaptability to adding Trick Shot to Sabine. I can try to tuck her behind rock for extra dice, then barrel roll out the next turn.

I've played this version. It's relatively thematic (pretty much the best thematic rebels list there is!)
Hera is fun to play, you can go almost anywhere, take an evade, let ahsoka boost you after combat where the fools tries to catch you.
2 points for Darkside Ezra powered by rage is worth the trade in my opinion. Makes him much more potent. You don't have to worry about rerolls, and you can spend your focus offensively due to his ability.

It can be a dirty list, but not as braindead as kanan/biggs. You have to think about movement constantly, and keeping ahsoka safe from PS9+ killers.
+ it murders miranda/nym, which is also nice ;-)

I know people hate bombs now, but I had a lot of fun with this squad when the Ghost first came out:

The signature move is to 5-K, then take a damage from chopper to place a Conner Net right on/in front of an opposing ship. Next turn, you can drop another Conner Net with Chopper + Advanced Sensors, or you can save that trick for later. Dorsal Turret is there because I dislike TLT (and for theme), and the Flechette Torpedoes are simply there to let the Ghost shoot out the back at range 3 after Ezra has been launched. People don't expect that. No Zeb here, so maybe you could use TIE fighter Zeb instead of the A-wing if you wanted.
