This would be the ideal time to put out an updated fah-Q ?

If there is going to be anything saying fa-Q to certain cards , it's reasonable to do it after the premier events.

The major pieces to the imperial faction have already been told Fa-Q for a long time. With a minor fa-Q given to some jumpmaster stuff but of course jm5k took the FA-Q and didn't even get mad about it.

There's still things in the wild that could use a Stern "Fa-Q".and it's about time for that.

I am hoping that the next step in bringing balance is soon. Been left lopsided for a bit too long now.

I suspect we'll see something soon, but FFG might hold off a few weeks so they can cover Guns for Hire at the same time. Given there seems to be a bit of a convoluted approval process with Disney over any Star Wars related documents (including the FAQ), I could see why they might want to bundle as much in together as they can.

Soon. There are National events yet to happen still. Canadian Nationals is still coming, my chance to shine* at last!

Good luck in not falling pray to the alternate definition of shine!

UK regionals start in Nov, so I'd guess it could be anytime in Oct up to the near the end of the month.

I'll plan on giving myself a week to recover from the glory/bitter disappointment of Blade Runner before thinking about the FAQ or G4H much.

I'm guessing October. They have to drop something before regionals. If they don't....then regionals season is really going to suck.

They upset players by waiting too. FFG upsets players either way they turn, so they might as well continue to go forward. I'd be surprised if it goes until the new year, but the FAQ will happen when the powers that be feel it is right, of course.

I think you'll be disappointed. I'm pretty sure the FAQ will simply leave the game in a different state of imbalance. Something else will be at the top, nothing more.

Potentially, yes. Heck, likely, yes. But I still hope it's better than what we got now. Like @LagJanson said, there's always gonna be somebody on top. And I think there is always gonna be an underdog too. But there can still be an improvement and the underdog can be just less popular rather than under powered.

Yeah, that's a thing to hope for. The space between what's at the top and what's at the bottom has been increasing wave after wave.

My feeling about this is no matter what FFG does, people will be unhappy. Even if this game were perfectly balanced people would continue to B***H about how OP something was because their favorite build (insert squad here) was completely and continuously devastated by (insert squad here).

For some reason, reading some of the post on the forum today has put me into a very bad mood. I may have to give myself a timeout before FFG gives me a warning or two.

Yeah Aussie Nationals I believe are one of the last (if not the last) so my guess is an 'effective Nov 1' FAQ with a bunch of clarifications for Guns for Hire thrown in for good measure.
