How does this game not already have a Death Star mission mat and model in a box to purchase with offical rules as a kind of base defense rebels v imperials mini game after so many years of existing...

I dont want to make up the rules myself or use someone elses. I want to BUY an official death star campaign box or something else yesterday.....

I have wishful thoughts that the missing sku is a Last Jedi Campaign box. You could easily have the timeline set up in the new movies with older model ships making appearance or being used. Jess Pava just flew an old Y Wing in the latest Poe Dameron comic!

Yep. People say that iconic ships need to be on the table to draw new players via the eye candy.

Just think of the draw if those ships were also flying the Trench Run.

Absolutely no offense to those have done excellent work in all those arenas, because I think your efforts are what keeps casual XWM alive. But it amazes me this game is still a Ships-Only product from an official standpoint.

Not gonna lie, when I first started, i thought the mats came with scenarios to go with them! (I didn't do my homework and it's why I currently own 4 mats >_<)

Something like Corellian Conflict would be nice, have new cards and bases with a campaign, but no models.

Are you saying that K wing vs Nym vs jumps isn't instantly drawing casual star wars fans in with all their star warsiness? Crazy talk! Everyone knows real star wars fans watch the movies to see their favorite Dengar have his 0.5 second non-speaking cameo and then instantly want his ship to be one of the top in the game!

Been screaming for 'scenario packs' for years.

I won't repeat myself in details .. but imagine a pack with 4 x Death Star turrets, rules for them and a few scenarios. AT-AT pack, shield generator, freighter, etc ......
