Could someone please help me remember the timing on ow this mech works? I did have it in my mind that it was changed to when you gain the stress and focus, you can't use the focus until the next round. Am i mistaken on this or does it work just as the card reads still. Thanks:)

You're thinking of R4 Agromech, possibly - that was clarified such that if you have two focus tokens you can't spend the focus, get the lock, spend it, then spend another focus to flip your eyeballs again.

OCR4 give you a stress when you spend a focus, to regain the focus, but you can spend it again that round - just not on the same effect in that attack/defence.
