[Hexer] "Blast" + "Internal Rot" or "Enfeebling Hex"

By Mr. Dice, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Hi forum

I've tried the magical search-button, but came up short (I think...)

Q: Does the pierce 2-effect from "Internal Rot" (Text: "Each of you attacks with a Magic weapon targeting a hexed monster gains Pierce 2.") also affect monsters adjacent to the targeted monster (fx through "Blast" text: "This attack affects all figures adjacent to the target space")?

Q: When using "Enfeebling Hex" to discard hex-tokens from the targeted monster to gain extra damage (Text: "When performing an attack targeting a hexed monster, a hero may discard any number of hex tokens before spending Surge . The attack gains +1 Heart for each hex token discarded"), does that extra damage also affect the adjacent monsters?

Thanx

Yes, both effects modify the attack as a whole. All figures affected by the attack suffer the additional Pierce and damage from hex tokens.

Another example of this principle is the Hybrid Sentinels "Prey on the Weak" ability which adds 1 damage if the target has 2 or less Strength. If the master uses firebreath and targets a "weak" hero, all heroes affected by the attack suffer the additional damage, regardless if they have a Strength of more than 2.
