So after much debate, I decided to run my club RP with HotAC. My room mates and I ran the first mission last night (I wrote up an IC report, not much to tell for this one though) and will be opening it for more players this Friday at our club meeting. I have however already developed a taste to make some custom missions involving the collection of epic ships we have. Has anyone written up such encounters, or should I get working on my own so that it is ready when we are? Thanks.

Here is a short write-up (with some pictures missing) of our group's homebrew from a few months ago. Details are about two thirds of the way down.

Somewhere out there, someone has done HotAC-style cards for the Raider (I think)..... But I seem to have lost the link.

Awesome. We are running the main game until we get a feel for it. We are also doing an RP which I am writing up notes for in battle reports. We have a big club with on and off players so Heroes' XP stystem seemed great. Just hold onto everyone's sheet. Should make a neat RP situation since my room mate and I (The CO and XO respectively) will acutually be the ace pilots leading our squadron to victory. I'll be sure to keep posting if I don't annoy anyone.

Are you guys playing with individual or pooled XP? My group started using individual, but moved to pooled after the first run-through, when we finished with something like two PS9's and two PS5's. It sounds like with your expected drop-in/-out ratio, pooled-per-Mission might be good, just to keep the regulars a little "down," and help the stragglers feel like they can keep up.

We are doing Solo XP for now, but as the situation changes I am leaning toward Group XP, takes away the motivation to kill steal a little. Quick question while I'm here, I was going to grab PTL next (have 2 XP free, used the rest to get to PS 3) but would I be better with something more offensive as the team dogfighter?
