Rookie Pilot and Lead by Example

If the Rookie has Lead by Example attached, can he activate, activate the vehicle, and then reroll the vehicle? Or has the timing window passed by that point?

Both of them have the same trigger (after character activates), so you would be able to decide the order.

Great question. Both the ability and the upgrade say "after you activate". So my thinking would be that neither of the options are tied to the activation. Since they both take place after the activation you should be able to resolve them in the order of your choice. Activate a support and then reroll it, or refill a support and then activate a different support. My 2 cents. I'm no expert though
