Best turret for Palob?

Sadly, you can talk in great fun about lots of turrets: blaster, ion, synched, etc. but if you don't pick TLT you're simply wrong. It's just to mathematically good not to staple it on, it's OP.

Until the rest of the FAQ of "Balance" drops, play the h*** out of it; I've been told by one good friend it'll be nerfed, but another tester I know less-well says no, it's fine. I'm 50/50 on it, but it is clearly OP compared to its siblings. I guess the TIE Aggressor maybe showed their hand a bit? Anyway, now that most counties nationals are over, the rest of 4.3.2 should be any day now.

Dorsal turret is my turret of choice for hwk's. Tlt is just to expensive on that ship and anti synergistic.

Tlt just increase the threat and point value of a ship you would prefer your opponent to ignore.

Of course TLT is getting a nerf, the Imperials can use it now.

Fair piece of advice when playing palob- don't actually steal your opponents focus tokens! Only reason I'm saying this is that it's happened to me twice now. It's not a major inconvenience, (literally every expansion pack comes with at least one focus, most two), but it's still slightly annoying to reach for the focus token next round... and find out palob has literally absconded with them! :wacko::lol:;)

As for turret, blaster works well with his ability. Alternatively you can go for ion control as well.

Don't be to proud of this hypothetical technological terror you've constructed. The FAQ is insignificant, next to the power of the force.

I use this build with Blaster Turret. Palob is the only one who can get away with BT.

I just thought of this one. How a bout Expertise, K4, Blaster Turret, and if you have the points Engine Upgrade.

This way you have both rerolls and the ability to modify.

Costs a frigging fortune for 5 hp, 2 dice, and no defensive mods.

Yeah it is a little pricey, but you can use Palob's ability to steel a token for defense.

It's a little cheaper than this.

I wouldn't run that either, for the record.

Palob for me gets Mindlink, TLT, maybe VT or Dengar if I've got spare points. You build him as a cheap bait/troll ship, nothing else.

It's 4 dice rather than 3. Also, you can reroll all the dice, just like anyone else does. Spend the TL....

I am actually baffled that there are people who say anything other than TLT. It is so superior to all other turrets that it just isn't a question.
