I just theorized a First Order Squad in the Silencer thread, but I went with two fat aces and one blocker instead (it all started from reflecting on the viability of Fat Kylo).
So like this:

I think Omega Ace can be good, but only if you can afford to bring Swarm Leader, or at least Opportunist, to give you extra attack dice (4-5 automatic criticals is a lot less easy to brush off). Which is why Advanced Optics is useful, because it's a way of getting Focus/Target Lock without using up the elite slot. Ditto Targeting Synchroniser on someone else in the squad.

Swarm Leader only works when in formation, and for the purposes of an aces list, I don't think that'll work too well.

This is the same idea as what we've been working with here, just with VI instead of Wired for Zeta Leader.

As long as you're all able to shoot the same target, it doesn't matter if one of you is at range 3 of the defender on one side, and the other is at range 3 on the other side, on nearly the other side of the board. No formation required!
Right, thought it required range 1. But still, Kylo can't evade, and Backdraft can't either (I think)

Indeed. In this list, it's not great. It works quite well in a TIE/fo All-stars list, though.
Dropping Chiraneau's shields with the other three TIE/fos and then saying ".....aaaand take 5 automatic critical hits " was something to see.
