Rebel CC List

My local group is going to play the CC soonish. I meet with another Rebel player and we talked about Lists and general strategy. We picked out commanders to build lists around and this is what I came up with. This is a starting out concept list. I was wondering if there would be any feedback on this. I might run Leia instead of Ackbar as I've played with her a few times and really enjoyed using her. I am trying to make my fighters work be self sufficient to take on enemy fighters. I was thinking about using the MKII as a carrier.

Hi Spaceman,

I would invest in more Ships! My experience in CC tells me its good to have more ships with staying capacity on the field!

The Frigates easily can stay until turn 4 and then jump out unscarred, but the brute force of 4 Gunney teams enhanced Frigates is scary.
But it comes for the price of a very low fighter screen, which I opted in the following rounds ... at least a bit.

So far undefeated ;-)

Btw. It is the perfect Defensive fleet ... position it as straight horizontal line speed 1 and let them come :-)

Take @Rocco79's advice. When you build a fleet, you almost always design the fleet to maximize you commander's ability. With this fleet, you can add 16 red dice to the battle through Ackbar, pointed at two or more targets.

That's a strange mix of Ackbar, black dices and squadrons... This won't be optimal. If you take Ackbar, maximize his efficiency at red dice range. So he goes well mc30 scout, but not with your external racks, AF2 and mc80 love Ackbar.

Your squadrons are very expensive, and it's not clear what their role is... I get your idea of rogues and Hera, but thats very expensive for fighters who will take action late in the round (vs activated squads).

Ok. So I took some advice and modified my list. I only have 2 AFMkII's so I removed 1 MC30 and added a AFMkII with Gunnery teams. I remade my fight list also. Let me know thought's about my new list.
