Do you use the upgrade cards that you got to design? Is the Pheaver contagious?

Why are you taking a break from X-Wing? RE: Carolina Krayts podcast, circa this week.

Yeah, I'm, like, right here. I'll answer some of the more interesting questions so far.

I was very surprised my wife let me go to GenCon this year, as I wasn't planning on it, but then some things fell into place at the last minute (as in, asking her if she minded if I bought a plane ticket which would leave in a few hours), and she had no problem with it. It does give her a blank check for anything she'd like in the future, though...

I'm happy with the game, in that I enjoyed playing all the rounds at NOVA and GenCon that I did. If your question is more, would I prefer the meta to be different? Sure, I'd like changes, but the game's still fun to play. Those NOVA stream games were exciting!

I did have a 70's stache at one point in my life, but I shaved it off because it looked silly.

Any card designed by a worlds or system open winner has to go through playtesting and be balanced, but the starting point is up to you. For example, the starting point on Boba Fett was "I want a card that can destroy upgrades." and we went from there.

Water and nuts keep you alert and awake.

Taking a break, as in we're in the offseason, and this gives me time to recharge and play other games before getting back into it.

Happy Friday CB! Very interesting questions, I too have to win Wife points to play xwing. Usually the stuff around town isn't too hard to attend, but something I have to travel for is limited to twice a year or so. I earn the points by kicking her out of the house on a weekend and telling her not to come back until after yoga, or going up to visit a friend's horses, something that takes a few hours at least. Also, there can't be enough said for getting up early and taking the baby duties to let the wife sleep in. There's a shelf in our fridge with energy drinks, that's my secret on making those situations work out.

My question would be: What are the other games you enjoy playing?
