"Darth Mouse" will have to forgive me for this but they need to open their eyes and see how much money they are leaving on the table by not doing CW Era . there are multiple waves worth of ships that could be released.

Is it $100 million dollars? Because I'm not sure the mouse would even bend over to pick up anything less than that.

Armada doesn't make that kind of money.

No but I think it's part of their overall marketing strategy. Wich means they will still have some call to make. Maybe not a total call but probably a notable one. Seeing as they own the SW ip I would be shocked if they didn't have any input on Armada.

There's more than just physical size.

There's size versus cost versus effectiveness.

The problem with going larger than an ISD, is you end up with something that is vastlybetter and prices itself out of contention (ends up being too many points for enhanced capability), or in the other direction, it ends up being just another ISD because its not siginificantly different or changed... We're going to have 4 distinct ISDs already....

Like I've always maintained... It has to add something to the Gameplay to be worth it, regardless of what it is or where it comes from..

It's the ship that is inside the nose of the Resurgent Battlecruiser:

. other space settings like Halo,

IP for this one is (as far as I know...) in flux, it is part of the IPs held by Spartan Games.... so anyone who wants to do a Halo table top game would have to either buy it off who ever picks up Spartans Portfolio or wait for MS to re-issue it....

I agree. I think that at some point we're gonna see this. So i think it becomes the question, new faction version of the isd or bigger newer ship pushing your points. If the former it will almost force an almost new edition feel to the game. If the latter may just force an increase in scale in both points and play area.

Im not really Shure how they will Handel it. For all I know they will do something out of left field with this. I will say that ffg has handeld this game well thus far, I think they learned alot from xwing and are trying to avoid the same pitfalls they hit there. I don't see any must takers for either faction, not do I see any total lemons in their line up(I know there are a few most people don't like to play, NEB B comes to mind but they have their uses and are still used by some). For all of the pain, we go through waiting and hoping our favorite ship comes out, I think we're better off for it. This game never feels battered with new and shiny constantly, but rather deep fresh constant breaths that keep it alive and healthy.

Sorry for the tangent there at the end. In summary im shure they will think of something.

I'd use red plastic for Tie FOs. I feel like that would solve that particular issue.

because no one paints red ties/et al.

except, oh the Imperial Guard.
