I would like to play an imperial ISD fleet any suggestions on good builds
New player to armada
The real question is: how many ISDs do you want ![]()
There are many competitive lists with one ISD and other support ships.
And a lot of more for fun lists with 2 or even 3 ISDs.
So more competetive or less competitive? Standard game for 400 points?
And then the question is: what expansions do you have to equip them with? Or does that not figure into the equasion cause you can draw from a big collection / want to play on Vassal?
Iv never played a full game if only played the demo so I have no idea on how to go about building a list if watched some stuff online and in thinking of playing a 400 point list with 2 ISDs it doesn't have to be a competitive list I'm only wanting to play casually for now so I can learn the game and have fun
Oh and I have one of every expansion pack and I have 2 ISDs

So, assuming that you want to play a standard 400 point game and you want 2 ISDs in your fleet, what would you want with them? Fighters? More ships that are smaller?
Here is an idea: In a tournament I played, this guy ran 2 ISDs, a VSD, and a Raider, no squadrons. Superior firepower, but he wasn't exactly the best player in the world, and he got second to last in the whole tournament.
The guy who showed Me how to play in the demo recommended that I play my first few games with a list that has squadrons so I can learn the full gaming experience of armada so I would like squadrons and I'm thinking of either Vader or motti as my commander any thoughts
Doesnt meat Motti or Vader, but Jerjerrod is a great commander when you are learning to navigate ISDs especially. This fleet is great as everything has training wheels. The upgrades on the ISD are simple and straight forward for pushing damage, and it also includes some squad effects you can learn that are important for Imperials- relay and Jendon.
All in all its a simple fleet to pick up and start, but something that has a high ceiling as you learn to really leverage all the individual pieces together.
