Help me with a Star Wars Rebels List

By birdbath, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hi, I am a big fan of Rebels and I would like to build a list which only has Star Wars Rebels ships.

I know we only have a few choices but has anyone had any success with a 100% Rebels list and how would you fly it.

Thanks in advance,

BB

I really like making things with a theme... but can't really come up with a good one roght now so I'll just leave ones I know were successful... the first one is by Cal Jones... I think that's his name, he made it to Yavin 2017 finals with the following build:

TIE Fighter: •Ahsoka Tano (22)
•Captured TIE (1)
•Sabine's Masterpiece (1)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Black Market Slicer Tools (1)

VCX-100: •Hera Syndulla (59)
Engine Upgrade (4)
•Ghost (0)
Accuracy Corrector (3)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
•C-3PO (3)
Navigator (3)

Attack Shuttle: •"Zeb" Orrelios (18)
•Phantom (0)
•"Chopper" (0)

Total: 99/100

It's NOT a list that is easy to play, at all.....

Here's the second one, I know azitucks showed up on one of the first episodes for only brief seconds, but it still counts!

VCX-100: •Kanan Jarrus (51)
•Ghost (0)
Fire-Control System (2)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
Recon Specialist (3)
•Rey (2)

Auzituck Gunship: •Lowhhrick (31)
Trick Shot (0)
•C-3PO (3)
•"Chopper" (0)

Attack Shuttle: •"Zeb" Orrelios (18)
•Phantom (0)

Total: 100/100

Thanks for the reply. not really feeling Rey as she was not even born yet.

Also, from a rules perspective, does C-3PO do anything on the Ghost apart from at range 3 etc?

Nope, C3PO is only there for Range 3 shots/Asteroids, but the idea from the list is, Hera moves action, probably evade, Ashoka moves focus, start of combat, I know where every ship is, spend focus to boost into Range 3, or Target lock if range 2 or 1 inside arc, or focus if already at Range and no benefit in boost. It's extremely difficult list to fly and your dinstance calculations would need to be spot on. Also your TLT always has 2 hits because of AC. I advise you watch his games or one game during the Yavin Open to understand how the list works. I think it's really cool how it matches your specifications almost exactly and it is successful.

And since Rey is a no go... Here's one with everything from rebels, SOTL's Phoenix Squadron:

TIE Fighter: •Ahsoka Tano (19)
Snap shot (2)

TIE Fighter: •Sabine Wren (21)
•Sabine's Masterpiece (1)
Snap shot (2)
Operations Specialist (3)

A-Wing: Green Squadron Pilot (20)
A-Wing Test Pilot (0)
Crack Shot (1)
Snap shot (2)
Chardaan Refit (-2)

A-Wing: Green Squadron Pilot (20)
A-Wing Test Pilot (0)
Crack Shot (1)
Snap shot (2)
Chardaan Refit (-2)

A-Wing: Green Squadron Pilot (20)
A-Wing Test Pilot (0)
Crack Shot (1)
Snap shot (2)
Chardaan Refit (-2)

Total: 100/100

Aaaaaaand since you didn't specify that it had to be a Rebel list and I am a scum player... I have to represent my faction with a stupid list....:

Protectorate Star.: Concord Dawn Ace (25)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Fearlessness (1)

Protectorate Star.: Concord Dawn Ace (25)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Fearlessness (1)

Protectorate Star.: Concord Dawn Ace (25)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Fearlessness (1)

Protectorate Star.: Concord Dawn Ace (25)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Fearlessness (1)

Total: 100/100

.... and a decent list:

Protectorate Star.: •Fenn Rau (34)
Autothrusters (2)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)
Push the Limit (3)

Pursuit Craft: •Asajj Ventress (44)
Gyroscopic Targeting (2)
Push the Limit (3)
•Latts Razzi (2)

Protectorate Star.: Zealous recruit (21)
Concord Dawn Protector (1)

Total: 99/100

Awesome DS, thanks for your help. I have a game in the next few days so I will let you how it goes.

Im not 100% sure but didnt we see Biggs in an Xwing at some point in Rebels? I think it was last season... If thats the case then the usual Ghost+shuttle+biggs would be the best option.

Technically, Lowhrick and Asajj Ventress aren't Rebels characters either, sadly. Another one you might like trying is any generic Imperial build. For example, the Grand Inquisitor with a mini-swarm of Academy Pilot TIE Fighters, a whole bunch of TIE Bombers, etc.

What's funny is that you can actually fit 100 points on a Ghost+Phantom, and start the game with only one ship on the board! Not saying that's a good list though...

Last year I made about a half dozen versions of a Spectre build, but this is what I flew my last two league nights in honor of season three coming out on video ...

TIE Fighter: · Sabine Wren (15)
Veteran Instincts (1)
· Captured TIE (1)
· Sabine's Masterpiece (1)
· EMP Device (2)
VCX-100: · Hera Syndulla (40)
Synced Turret (4)
Fire Control System (2)
· "Chopper" (0)
· "Zeb" Orrelios (1)
· Ghost (0)
Attack Shuttle: · Ezra Bridger (20)
Push The Limit (3)
Synced Turret (4)
Stealth Device (3)
· Kanan Jarrus (3)
· Phantom (0)
-- TOTAL ------- 100p. --

And as for starting the game with one ship on the board, I flew this list last year ..

VCX-100: · Hera Syndulla (40)
Extra Munitions (2)
Ion Torpedoes (5)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
Fire Control System (2)
Engine Upgrade (4)
· Dash Rendar (2)
· R2-D2 (4)
· Ghost (0)
Attack Shuttle: · Ezra Bridger (20)
Push The Limit (3)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
Stealth Device (3)
· Kanan Jarrus (3)
· Phantom (0)
-- TOTAL ------- 100p. --

The Inquisitor (25)
Push the Limit (3)
Autothrusters (2)
TIE/v1 (1)

Glaive Squadron Pilot (34)
Juke (2)
TIE/x7 (-2)

Darth Vader (29)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)
Engine Upgrade (4)
TIE/x1 (0)

Total: 100

Non seen the latest season.

Can anyone confirm that Biggs was in star wars rebels?

I had some fun with a Rebels themed list. Won far more games than I should have too.

  • 40 - Chopper - Hera, Fire Control System (or autoblaster turret)
  • 20 - Prototype Awing - Proton Rockets, Guidance Chip
  • 20 - Prototype Awing - Proton Rockets, Guidance Chip
  • 20 - Prototype Awing - Proton Rockets, Guidance Chip

Chopper dives in to block, and be a jerk. The Awings pick a target (large base make great targets) pick different speeds, angles, and zoom in always focused. The lead sometimes acts as a blocker for the rest of the squad. Generally the list goes to time and wins due to early successes.
