I just recently got down to reading my copy of Damned cities and although i havent made it very far into the book i already have become facsinated by the concept of the Clockwork Court as a Haarlock trap.

and yes i know it has no such intention but what can i say i like messing with my players occasionally more than i need to

my idea is that one of Skaeman's followers or the Daemon himself could somehow "awaken" the court and all the servitors would immediately begin to try and purge the surrounding area.

any idea on what the servants stats would be/ the weapons they would wield?

and any ideas on the type of ritual or action that could awaken the court?

Ah yes i always did love that episode, that is a good idea though with the concealed weapons already built in.

i was thinking of using the Goleph template from the Radicals handbook or it may not be Goleph i dont have my book with me to check unfortunately although they are machines that are extremely heretical and i would merely take away the artificial intelligence they have and let that be gained from the main control mechanism

as for the ritual no there are no clocks the court is merely a clockwork device much like the Doctor Who concept of clockwork anything although i do like the idea of Haarlock blood awakening the court or possibly someone else

anyone else have any ideas?
