Why no Endor?

You better start to learn how to made custom figures. :D

It's a very small scale for some even smaller characters!!! FFG gave us a jawa, I can still hope! In the meantime whenever I play Star Wars Rebellion, she insists I display her 3.75 inch Wicket on Endor as a warning of what might wait for any imperial troops that would dare invade the sanctuary moon!!

I like that in theory, but would prefer a positive effect to a negative.

Moving Target: Each time you perform a move, obtain 1 (evade) power token.

Perhaps.

Negative attributes aren't uncommon with units (such as Non-Sentient). However, they do tend to come alongside units that have huge benefits from other things.

Maybe we should see something more like this:

Quote

8 Speed

+5 Movement Points

Momentum: By the end of your activation, you must be at least 5 spaces from where you began your activation. If you are not, take two damage.

That way, the speeder would have absolutely unprecedented speed- a single action would probably be faster than double moves on any other unit, or close to it. After all, thematically it is a much faster unit than we've seen before.

And it still has the negative attribute, but it's so mobile that most smart players should be able to play around it.

Ewoks are terrible, so the less we get of them the better. Then again if you can murder them by the dozens in Legion, I'd be tempted to buy...

I don't hate that. Also, I wouldn't mind increasing the speed further if the speeder had to take multiple movement points to change the orientation.

I want all the Ewok goodness ... Wicket, Paploo, Teebo, Logray and Chirpa, an Ewok glider, a catapult, ranged combat Ewoks, melee Ewoks ...

Yes... that they may all be purged...

They need to be Hunters. And Ewok needs to be a new keyword, too. And they have to be OP.

In the movie, they ride speeder bikes and walkers, they defeat all those Stormtroopers in an open battle, the use modern guerilla tactics, ... each Ewok is a one man army, but there are hundreds of them ...

Shhhhhh.

If FFG hears you, we'll end up with another $10 single figure Ewok blister like the Jawa. I want a 3 figure group of Ewoks to save $$ while building my OP Ewok swarm for domination at Worlds 2018.

I get that people don't want to see the Ewok village tiles. It doesn't really turn my crank either. But I wouldn't mind some more forest tiles. We've done Hoth. We've got plenty of desert tiles and now with Bespin and HotE, we're good for interior/urban tiles. Expanding forests to include swamps (Dagobah) or jungles (Kashyyk) is pretty much the only place left for the Core Box to expand if you keep drawing from the OT era.

there are several swamp tiles in the core and even in jabba's pack, since they don't intermix (no bespin and hoth together unfortunately) and we have more forest tiles than any other cumulatively (desert tiles give them a run for their money)

Honestly I'd prefer more interior tiles, not necessarily death star hallways but just different interior buildings. The other thing I would love to see is some Subterrestial or Cavern type tiles. Let's go hunting for Kyber crystals

Speeder bikes need to be properly balanced, and not movement 10 or hard to hit. Or if they are there should be serious downsides.

Am I the only one who is not fussed for the Ewoks? surely nobody wants a furry Schwarzenegger kicking their *** on the tabletop?

I do.

Me too.

I also want Cindel and Mace and a Gorax and Charal and Terak with the Sanyassan Marauders and Teek and Noa.

"Star cruiser crash!"

+1 to both of those ideas, for sure!

If Ewoks are the price I have to pay for Imperial Special Forces a la Inferno Squad, I'll suffer the furry things to exist, at least long enough to blast them into extinction...

will be the next small box or even big box. no worries. there will be endor.

my guess is after some rogue one and rebels stuff.

no worries.

there is no reason not to do it.

with some bothan heroes. spoilers: they die.

You're not the only one. Ewoks are the worst. They were the prequels before the prequels.

Exactly.

Also Sentry Droid on a speeder bike performing Multi-Fire while flying past the rebels. Or the E-Web Engineer balancing the tripod.

This could make the EWebs viable.

As i can see sw: legion will brings all stuff IA don't have : speeder bikes, rebel vehicle and episode V luke. So i think no speeder bikes for us.

On the other hand bikes are too hard to do in skirmish. My thoughts:

Hp: 8 speed: 6 def: black attack: GGY

Surges:

~:+2, +3 acc. And ~:pierce 2. Mobile

Speeder: you might to spend at least one action to move. During your activation you might spend all gained movement points.

Dangerous speed: every time you pass through block terrain you suffer 1 strain.

At the end of the round you might to move 3 spaces and gain 1 evade power token.

Ewoks are terrifying. Remember the Stormtrooper helmets they were using as drums? What do you think they did with those guys? They were pretty excited for the chance to eat Han, Luke, and Chewy. I don't think they were celebrating the destruction of the Death Star so much as the massive feast that fell on their doorstep.

Although... I can't imagine a three figure, three HP (per figure) group with the Rancor's Feed ability .

Stormtroopers, Alliance Rangers, Duros rebels, Vader... wait, nevermind. :P

I don't think there's any hard rule that something's inclusion in Legion disqualifies it from IA. If there was, I'd imagine Legion would be a significantly different game.

No they're not terrifying and any attempts to retcon them as anything other than goofy teddy bears who outkicked their coverage are as unintentionally hilarious as the Ewoks themselves.

1) Nothing is being retconned. They had every intention of eating people, there's no reason they wouldn't keep that attitude after the battle.

2) Nothing "unintentional" about it. It's meant to be funny.

3) Don't blame me if you get eaten first when Ewoks conquer the Earth with their sticks and rocks :P .

I'm gonna say that I think that Ewoks have a lot of narrative potential. I have a children's book for my son (5 minutes tar Wars Stories) that depicts them more like little wolverines than teddy bears and it makes me want a pseudo-horror comic about a patrol of troopers that disappear during the building of the shield generator on Endor. Given that I'm not a comic book artist/writer I might have to tell this story with my IA group instead. IF we get Ewoks in IA, I'm going to write a side mission where my rebels get to control one Imperial trooper each. Probably something like one E-Strormtrooper, one E-Heavy one E-Jump trooper and Kayn Samos each with +5 health or so. The mission will take place at night and visibility will be limited (probably using the "place adjacent tile" dynamic). They will initially be on patrol when they hear something in the forest and an unnamed 5th party member disappears into the woods without a sound followed by a terrible scream. They will have two options 1) look for lost team member or 2) return to base. The map will be laden with invisible traps and Ewoks that are hunting them (like the original Predator). Ultimately, most of them will probably get captured and eaten. Mission rewards will be based on how many (if any) make it to the transport ("get to the choppa") and an extra reward if they find the corpse of their missing team member. This might be a Prologue mission if we get an Endor box. I'll let you know how it works. If we don't, I might just have to pick up some wizards of the coast minis and make my own Ewoks.

They probably don't think Ewoks will sell, so they are avoiding them. Also IA maps are a bit too small for something like a speeder bike. It is probably best they are in Legion. Instead we get HOTE which I feel was the right call for the next step in IA.

Ewoks will be the first unit with the Cannibal keyword.
