I often wonder whether the abilities of Captain Jonus and Roark Garnet should be errata'd so they do not work with huge ships. I like your analysis of Recover vs Reinforce. I am veering towards defaulting to Reinforce with Backup Shield Generator these days. Using Breach Specialist is a really good way of mitigating a nasty Epic crits.
