I was looking into doing some custom cards (alt art). I know there are custom card templates and a place that you can get them made. I was wondering what people use for both the template website and the ordering website for cards? If memory serves me correctly you have to do a minimum order. Does it all have to be of the same card?

Strange Eons 3
That was my 500th post!
Edited by ZeoinxAgreeing with above. Strange Eons has been great for making custom cards and ships. Nice thing especially, if you create a new ship, it asks you to put in a base cost, then it'll automatically factor in costs for EPT's, unique pilots (usually indicating a pilot ability), and PS. It also creates dials, upgrade cards, huge ship cards, you name, it has it.
Then order them printed at makeplayingcards.com. They don't have any minimum order (but you save money ordering more). Be careful with what you write on there though. A few times, they've told me that there were copyright issues with my cards, and it was probably because I put the words "Fantasy Flight Games" on there when saying "custom card is not endorsed by Fantasy Flight Games and is for personal use only." So the fewer words you put on there, the better.

I've been wondering how to get things printed in a nicer format than plain ol' printer paper. Thanks for sharing.

I actually heard it from some nice guys in the last European Championships thread! They were kind enough to answer my inquiries despite me being a random rude American crashing their thread.
I figured I would necro this thread rather than starting my own.
First off, thanks to everyone who replied above. Those are some very helpful links and suggestions!
Second, does anyone know of any other custom card makers out there besides Strange Eons? I was really hoping to make some custom horizontal alt-art cards, but that's not an option in Strange Eons. I've seen a few floating around before, like the Countess Riad pictured below, so it seems like there might be at least a template or two floating around.

Haven't seen one yet... But I'd like to see this too. I actually use Microsoft Publisher for all my alt-arts, so I could try to recreate that particular style in Publisher and share that with you if nobody can find the template.
My brain cannot see anything other than a TIE Defender barrel rolling into a landed E-Wing in some sort of a kamikaze death spiral...which is just a waste of one of the Empire's best space superiority fighters...
Otherwise a great format for an alternative art card, clean and well defined!
