Gonzanti action is to coordinate a Tie Interceptor that landed itself on an asteroid. That's legal because landing on an asteroid merely 'skips' the action step, right?

Yes. You have to skip your regular action step but it does not prevent actions in general. Only stress does that generally.

As long as one side is clear you can use that action to barrel roll the TIE off there as well.

There is a similar interaction with a Decimator with the Dauntless title. If bump into another ship while landing on an asteroid (but not a debris), you'd be able to use the title and gain a stress to take a free action (potentially a boost off the rock).
