Add the following line to the end of the current upgrade card text: "When you would suffer damage from a bomb, reduce that damage by one."

so, now you are IMUNE to seismics, and only suffer a stress from thermals. thanks for the power creep.

Yes, because the arc dodgers are really oppressive in today's meta. Oh wait, they're non-existent because of undodgable bombs and turrets everywhere.
How about 'if you would suffer damage from a bomb token that rolls attack dice, roll one defense die and cancel one (hit) or (crit) per evade result
Yay more Fenn rau and more scum
Also stop suggesting dice rolls v bombs. **** dice, we got enough as is

I didn't realize Autothrusters was broken.
Perhaps you mean that it needs an adjustment or an update. But a fix? It's not broken.

But the bombs you hit hardest are the ones that aren't the problem! the problem is they gave nym PS8 (10) instead of 7 (9), you can outbid a 9.
edit: that's what you are complaining about right?

The whole point is to stop auto-damage from removing low health Imperial ships completely from the game. Making Interceptors practically immune to bombs I'm fine with.

Fair enough.

Everyone has problems with minefields, why should something faster and harder to control be an exception?

Why would something faster and easier to handle do better in a minefield? How about because they can more easily avoid the mines? High health ships already just plow through them and shrug off the tiny damage, but the Imperials are almost always low health ships, and having a hard counter to an entire faction is poor design. Then they doubled down on that poor design by giving the two factions most resistant to bombs ways of boosting those bombs.
Turret bomb wing is lame.

do you realize just how much has been given to the punisher? How about these:
Wave 10 brings LWF.
Wave 11 brings Bomblets and unguided rockets.
wave 13 brings trajectory simulator.
all of this comes for just eight points total, and the only thing in the game that gets all of them it the punisher, so no, it wasn't targeted at the empire, because the empire can get all of it and more!
edit: Why would something faster and easier to handle do better in a minefield, you say? How about because it's controls are super touchy, and you are going extraordinarily fast, and thus your reaction window is smaller. Its science.
Edited by GLEXOROr just make a new modification that you must have agility three to equip. Once per round when rolling for a bomb token or obstacle you may reroll one of those dice.

Sabine and Cad Bane say hi.

And then the twin laser turrets on the bombers proceed to chew these ships to pieces because then they don't have Autothrusters.

then you get less ships to destroy. Placing bombs and TLTs on the same ship makes the ship very expensive. I tried that with Y-wings and yeah it was too many points on a Y-wing you would rather go with TLT or bombs but not both.

Interceptors can take both and they are one of the most in need of it.

Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren say hi back.

And those help bombs how? We're talking about bombs.

I thought we were talking about how the empire always gets the short end of the stick.

Nope, though I won't argue against that point, we're talking about undodgable bombs completely removing low health ships from the game. Granted, the Imperials suffer the most from this, but unavoidable damage is a dangerous thing to tinker with, and I'm proposing a counter to this damage.

a counter that gives a bonus great bonus worth 2 points and obsoletes another card costing two points? this card should cost at least five points! you can't just obsolete card A because a card B is a problem.
This would be better for sensor jammer than autothrusters. Since cost. Turn one hit to a focus for bombs.
TLT needs a nerf too. give ships with 3 agility an exta auto evade
how many small base imperial ships u got collecting dust on ur shelves?
I'll agree to it if they lose the ability to use it at range 3.
