My thinking was that on the chance my opponent has few or no squadrons it would be nice to have the bomber for one point. I am now rethinking my bid on this list and do kind of like the Valen plus two lambdas for strategic hijinks. Perhaps I am over thinking this :).

At least in my experience I always liked Ciena for a screen as her ability makes her very resilient and completely immune to most ship's anti-squadron armament
