Tie Aggressor

Does this list seem worth a try at all?

Aggressive Aggressors (100)

Sienar Specialist (25) - TIE Aggressor
Twin Laser Turret (6), Lightweight Frame (2)

Turrets galore! Low PS sucks....but you certainly can put some damage through every turn you survive. Maybe give one an ion cannon turret to stress out that more difficult target?

4 TLT agressors list made day 2 cut at Nationals, so it is solid, however I think that performance wise it ss similar to 4 YWing TLT list - you're unlikely to win with it, but you can cruise with it to upper-middle tables and get some SWAG in the process.

I personally think that 4 TLTs would never be a Tier 1 list as it is an obvious list to playtest with/against.

List made top 4 at my last store champs i went to but lost in semis. Dont think its can win a large tourney, but like pt106 said, it has the capability to take you far and get some swag. Just know you WILL be the bad guy at the tournament.

Personally, I think this list has a bit more potential than 4x TLT Y-Wings. Statistically-speaking, the Y-Wings are a little tougher to kill. However, the native barrel roll introduces interesting options in how a particular formation of Aggressors can change shape or split up, or just move as little as possible. Have each ship do a 2-hard in the same direction, then barrel roll back and away. Your forward distance won't even increase half a ship length. There are just so many more options for where each ship can go.

There are also technically more upgrade options. There are no realistic options for Y-Wings other than astromech droids, and even there, Unhinged is miles ahead of other options. I think Lightweight Frame is probably the best option, but it could be possible to use Unguided Rockets. That'd be worse except against 0-agility ships, though. Also, going up to PS5 could make a difference. Lightweight Frame is great, but against something like Fairship Rebels, being higher PS might be strong.

As to mixing turrets, I don't think I'd mix in anything other than Autoblaster Turrets. You could go with Onyx Squadron Escorts, all LWF, with 2x Autoblaster and 2x TLT. Alternately, if you went with Sienar Specialists, each ABT you equip would allow you to put two copies of Unguided Rockets into your list. 2x TLT, 2x ABT with UR and LWF on each could be OK. Alternately, one ship could give up LWF to equip Autoblaster and a Pair of Ion Pulse Missiles with Guidance Chips.

I think the basic 4x Seinar Specialists with TLT & LWF are the "right" list, but smarter players than I might be able to figure out a strong meta call. That said, I agree with the posters above that the ceiling for this kind of list is not very high, even if it does fairly well.
