If new game, planned start date: ASAP - currently running.
Planned Duration & Frequency: Meeting once a week and lasting indefinitely. Campaign is already over a year old.
Term:

Text or Voice: Voice
Voice software used: Skype

Roleplay & Combat mix: 50/50
Number of Players in game & needed: 3 currently active. Some people have dropped out but plan on coming back. Room for up to 3 more.
Character starting level & equipment: Though the campaign is old, current story-line adapted to the creation of new low level characters in campaign.
Character restrictions: Avoid Jedi due to murky moral area the campaign operates in.

Details of your scenario: Players known as part of "Headhunter Squadron" - started out as more of mercenary unit sympathetic to the Rebellion. Used for missions where collateral damage is not an issue or bound to occur so the official stance of the Rebellion is to distance itself. After completing many missions on behalf of the Rebellion, Headhunter squadron has been tasked with creating a new Rebel Cell in the Arkanis sector (think of "The Partisans" AKA "Saw Gerrera's Militia" in Rogue One. Existing high level characters will serve as leadership/mentors to new recruits. All players currently re-rolling new characters to serve as the new recruits.

Thanks for your consideration.

Michael

The Arkanis sector is overused.

Regardless, I might be interested. What are the existing characters' specializations?

It's starting experience + 150 exp.

So far we have a gunslinger/pilot and a outlawtech/scoundrel. Other player is undetermined.

we have players that will be returning but not for a month or so.

I can see how the arkanis sector is overused with tatooine, but do most arkanis sector stories deal with the other worlds in the sector?

Age: 16

Previous Experience: I've been a fan of the system ever since it came out, and while I had the EotE CRB, I never really had anybody to play with. I have recently been playing on Roll20 as a GM for the past four months. While I have never played any other RPGs, I have plenty of experience with Star Wars.

Questions: Are you open homebrewed species, as long as they are reasonably balanced? Would it matter as to where they come from? (ie. more common and respected sources like Unofficial Species Menagrie and Great Movie Alien Compendium could get a different opinion that stats that I've made)

Character Details: I'm really torn between a few options. It also depends on wether or not you allow homebrewed species.

1.

Career/Specialization: Colonist Marshal

Species: Lurmen (stats made by me for this forum: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/256903-the-great-clone-wars-alien-compendium/ )

Backstory: Dar Tee Plor came from relative success on his homeworld of Mygeeto, in one of the few rare clans that was not enslaved to work in mines for the IGBC. Stubborn and determined as any other Lurmen, he found himself an outcast amongst his own people when he began to speak of freeing the slaves, suggesting that they needed to use any methods necessary to fight back against the Muuns. The pacifistic Lurmen were abhorrent, chastising his violent preaching. Plor eventually went out by himself, frustrated by the stubborn ways of his people. (Slightly ironic, given that he is just as stubborn, except stubborn in favor of a different side) His desire for justice made him a natural fit in the role of a sheriff, which he found on the world of Utaruun. The Empire's recent arrival there has made him determined to rebel, since they took his job, and have been doing it poorly, oppressing the (mostly nonhuman) residents.

Personality: Plor is stubborn and determined to the end. While more violent than his people, he still is less inclined toward violence than some of his peers may be. Though idealistic in theory, he often lets his emotions get the better of him.

2.

Career/Specialization: Smuggler Gambler

Species: Herglic (Stats homebrewed by me here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T6xbjdoUh1Q_Fh9BVQx-zOtVPISFEB75_KpU6S1Oyz4 )

Backstory: Houne has had a love for gambling very early in his life, first learning Sabacc from his grandfather. It was a minor hobby throughout his childhood, amongst other things (like his social life, which is quite important to the amiable Herglics) When he joined the CIS army in the Clone Wars out of idealism, it became something else. Though he cared for the cause, Houne wasn't keen on the discipline or athletics that a life with the army required. Though he loved the risk-taking from fighting in battles, this was far too short for him. And he found one release: his old hobby of gambling. Like so many other Herglics, he became an addict, and it would haunt and help him for the rest of his life. Then came the end of the war. Since history is written by winners, he became a "bad guy," and was doomed to some harsh legal penalties. However, Houne couldn't resist the thrill of avoiding them, and continuing the love he has for a high stakes as a gambler. So, he decided on a life on the frigne, away from the eyes of the Empire. Thankfully for him, his Sabacc face helps out when dealing with customs officials, so he also worked profitably in some smuggling crews. He has also had run-ins with a former Republic soldier, which he badly wounded back in the war, in addition to his other exciting tales. Now, when the rebels came calling, he just couldn't resist the chance to beat the odds and defeat the Empire...

Personality: If you haven't noticed from his backstory, Houne loves risk, thrill, beating the odds, and high-stakes events. He always prefers an "all-in" approach. He is also savvy in conversation, and amiable.

3.

Career/Specialization: Colonist Performer

Species: Falleen

Backstory: Born into the upper class, Zon Cixor had things going quite well on Falleen. He grew up surrounded by wealth, and his luck got better from there. As a young noble, he finally home in order to go on the traditional Falleen pilgrimage. Mastering the use of his pheromones, he also found a new talent as a stand up comedian. (Though his jokes are unspectacular at best to the average mammal, reptilian brains are different enough that they find his unique sense of humor quite amusing) Coupling the two together, he seemed to have found his career choice. His first official tour went well, and when he returned to Falleen, he was already preparing his encore. However, months planning his second tour collapsed to nothing when the Empire came. Taxing, stealing profits, and nationalizing corporations, everything seemed ruined. Without money to pay for transit and venues, not to mention great losses to his coffers in general, Zon was both desperate and angry. Troubles in getting offworld for the tour thanks to an Imperial blockade pushed him to his limit. Even for a Falleen, the rage overtook him. Illegally passing through the blockade, he became determined to get his revenge.

Personality: Zon keeps his emotions in check as much as any other Falleen, but is always eager to crack a joke. For the most part, he just wants to mark his mark on the galaxy, return to his former wealth, and get revenge on the Empire.

I'm interested, but I'm not sure I can make that consistently (4 kids ages 2-9, and a wife that works inconsistently in the evenings, and another VTT based game once every other week)... All my issues, I just wanted to say I was interested.

If I didn't have a conflict I'd definitely be interested. Just posting to add my voice stating this is a good idea!

I'd love to play, but I unfortunately have to get up at 5 every morning for work and Wednesdays are not days I can get away with a lack of sleep :(

I can dig it. I currently have no other obligations in that slot.

Age: 34

I have every source book and adventure module, but I haven't run through them yet.

I have a strong understanding of this system. Right now I am dealing with the Hurricane, so today won't work, but I could start as soon as next week. I have a character concept in mind and just need to create a backstory and stats.

Are you interested in having me as a player? :D

32 year old that can definitely make the times listed. I have all the books along with a strong understanding of the system as I currently GM an Age of Rebellion game on FG. I am quite knowledgeable about the SW universe both in Legends and current canon (X-Wing series are by far my favorite!) but I don't mind going with whatever setting the GM wants (after all it's all about having fun at the end of the day!). I am an enthusiastic role player and I am comfortable with just going with the flow and adapting to the situation. If you don't have room right now I would definitely be up for being put on a waiting list of some sort! I am actually quite eager to play this game after being the GM for the past six months!
