I seriously, honestly, didn't want our first group to have a YT1300. Imitation isn't the best form of flattery.
Then we played the Beginner set and they fell in love with the
Krayt Fang
and it's wampa rug. Then when Jo joined, they reinvented themselves as 'the Krayt Dragons Free Trade Without Borders Trade Consortium', and the rest is
history
the MarcyVerse. And when Racine joined, we fleshed out the backstory of the ship, about how it was the rigger's pet project, stolen from her when Trex murdered her boyfriend. Yes, I know every smuggler says their ship is the 'fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy', but in this case, it's actually true. Here's the
Fang
doing its thing:
As to the other groups, the AOR group has access to a lot of stuff depending on the mission. The PC who actually leads the Alliance has access to all the ships in the faction, but she prefers the Independence, the flagship of House Ulnar, the ship on which she was born.
The Followers of the Temple group just got its hands on the legendary Crucible, a gift from the mysterious Navigators (the former Jedi ExplorCorp, long gone dark) to stay one step ahead of the Order. The 'Temple' is a state of mind as much as a location, but now they actually have a unique mobile base.
