Would anyone here on the forums consider flying out to Hawaii if there was an Armada regional here? I know that the PNW (Portland-Seattle-Vancouver) has a solid player base and you can get good flights from that area to Hawaii. One of the local stores submitted a request to FFG and wants to gauge interest.
What could be better--Armada, tropical beaches, and mai tais?
That's is a hard sell, if Im going to Hawaii I going to be outside...
I played 40k outside last time I was there.

If you're going to Hawaii for Armada, you might as well stick around for a few days (or weeks) to enjoy the outside as well!

Who wouldn't want to go to Hawaii and make an adventure out of it.
Go to the beach, see Pearl Harbor, the volcano's, the beaches.
Did I mention the beaches. But I'm a bit biased, since I live there.

Last time I drank Mai Tias, I blacked out. Hard to play Armada when I'm **** faced.

Indeed. I do enjoy drinking and then playing Vassal.
We have a time share in HI, and flights can be cheap depending on when and how far out I can reserve them. Wife might balk at the idea of me spending a day of our always-to-short Hawaii trip playing spaceships though....

Don't treat it like Armada (attack/drink, then play).

No aloha for Hawaii here? The wintertime is a perfect time to get out of the cold, dreary PNW (I've lived there) and enjoy some sunshine and Armada...
