Sneaky profundity preview

It's in Spanish, but there are some clues to content.

Plagiarised from reddit:

  • Draven and Bail Organa officers
  • Same defensive retrofit as Chimaera
  • Unique weapons team. A Mon Cal guy? Capitain... What?
  • Jyn erso as boarding party
  • Two cards I cant figure out. The one with the TIE might be an offensive retrofit? Maybe a good anti-fighter one for once?
  • Is that four titles?! Profundity, two more + facedown?
  • The ship card we can see shows:
  • Defensive suite: 2contains, brace, Reditect.
  • Blue-black flak
  • I'm not sure if it is a 3 command, 3 fighters and 4 engineering

Gracias!

that is pretty good.

The ship card has 3 blue, 2 black out the front. So it's no the version on the ship token.

Speed 2. No support slot?

Brace, redir, 2x contain. Same as a Dictor.

Officer, Weapons, Offensive, Defensive. What else?

Im tempted to pull the trigger on getting 2 of these. If the cards are good, I'm in for a double. A solid, large rebel all-rounder like the ISD1 would be gravy

The TIE fighter card is interesting. It looks like either an ion cannon striking it or a tractor beam. I can't say we learned a ton from this but I am still very excited for Wave 7.

Get those big ships on the board!

All of your deductions are correct as far as I can see @D503. I do note this is the first ship to mount blue/black anti-squad on both versions.

What terrible defense tokens are these? Got all those shields and I'll never get to use em now.

Ugh, what is the deal with double Contain? Has anyone ever burned through enough Contains to justify having 2? If they stopped non-standard crit effects, sure...

That's my only complaint, the ship is shaping up to look pretty good.

From google translate

The MC75 Cruise represents the first generation of warships built by the mon calamari to flee the imperial occupation of their native oceanic world. Created from the reconversion of passenger ships or even urban constructions, these ships were armed with a powerful combination of turbolasers, ion cannons and proton torpedoes. One of the first of its kind was Depth, the flagship of Admiral Raddus and stronghold of the rebel fleet.

This pack includes everything you need to add 1 MC75 Cruiser to your games.

Interesting that it translated Profundity as Depth. I had no idea that profundidad was the Spanish word for Depth

Google translate isn't actually that good at getting the accurate translation. I am in Spanish class, it was one of the first things we learned.

I'd say unlikely, since the Mon Cal visible looks like one of the Profundity bridge crew, which looks distinctly different from Ackbar and his crew in ROTJ

So I guess its a background char that got named, probably the one that has some lines with Raddus in Rogue One

I can't make much out at that resolution, but:

  • Bail Organa has some form of restriction "<...> ships only". Possibly "large".
  • General whatshisname seems to have some squadron keywords.
  • The upper-right upgrade card reads "<...> batteries", probably an anti-squadron upgrade.

True. Unless they just squeeze him in there anyway because we've gotten officer versions of other commanders (well, I guess just Leia)

Should I feel left out? :P

Profundity means depth. Deep insight, depth of knowledge, depth of emotion, deep thoughts.

If you're talking about the white Mon Cal, it's this guy:

EDIT: the card name is likely "Caitken and Shollan"

Ha, now that I know his name, I can make it out on the card.

Initially I thought that read captain in Spanish or something...

Serious question here. How do moncal get dressed? They have gigantic popeye forearms, but they always have sleeves that end just prior to that gigantic bulging arm. How do they pull those sleeves on without horribly stretching out the material?

They dress underwater, so everything is super stretchy. Then they dry off.
