No. Damage to trigger Kylo's condition must come from an attack, not a separate card ability.

Now if it's that Advanced Targeting Computer being used on Vader's TIE Advanced I don't see why it wouldn't assuming it gets through.

Not what you meant of course but Vader as crew doesn't trigger ISYtDS.

ATC would. Vader crew wouldn't.

You could run that as a Doom Shuttle with other ships that like to produce crits. Backdraft comes immediately to mind. A Defender would make a good third ship in that list. I haven't run the points exactly, but it should work.

Trade Vader for the Mangler Cannon. For that kind of build you're better off with a Firespray. Take Kath Scarlet so your target get stress if they evade the crit.
