Gear/Armour/Weapons for Politicos?

By arlo di'lya, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Hi, forgive me if this has been properly answered but it seems as if it only half has...

So just wondering if anyone has a good list of gear, armour/clothing and weapons that improve social checks, helps aid politicos in combat and in general play :)

Cheers

Yes, in combat they do very much help but I'm talking about what individual gear helps politicos in combat AND general play

eg. Social encounters

The Diplomat sourcebook for Age of Rebellion has a bunch. Highly recommended for Politicos, or any sneaky/social character.

Ah completely forgot about that, thank you. Is there any others? Most of this equipment relates to crowds and politico espionage. Wondering if there is anything more general to help as well? (We have a setting in edge of the empire, so things like inspiring my group and deceiving gang members and imperials etc)

Hahaha ohhhh....

The BPEA-1A Cascader from Lead by Example upgrades Charm, Deception and Leadership checks. The Lector's Outfit from Desparate Allies adds a Boost to social checks with large crowds. You can modify the crafted armor from Keeping the Peace to add an Advantage to Charm, Coercion, Leadership or Negotiation checks. Those come to mind right away.
As far as weapons go, there really isn't anything specific. Might wanna stick to holdout weapons (perhaps along with a Concealment Holster) to fit the theme.
