If you want a tactical discussion about how to play with or versus a ship it's fine to me.

If you want to discuss how in your opinion the game should be played to be fun, write something like: "In my opinion, game would be more fun if it was just about who got the better dice modifications and not about flying skills".

But this would leave room for discussion and maybe others are allowed to have different opinions.

So you say your opinions is a fact instead. Noone can argue about your facts, right?

Sadly you just want to hear that you poor individuals did loose to this completely imba ship and thus your preferred list, which is completely fine and not OP, should be buffed / Nym should be nerfed.

I haven't lost to a Nym list yet, but my limited and anecdotal success doesn't mean that Nym isn't too powerful of a ship. Also, dismissing everyone's opinions as crying and making up motives for why we're posting adds nothing to a discussion other than to make yourself feel superior because clearly you have it right and everyone else who has a problem with the state of the game is just crying. Sure, whatever makes you feel better.

As far as actual facts go: since his release, Nym has won every National. That's a fact. Different countries, different wingmen, different people flying the list, but Nym is part of all of them. This is starting to feel like the Parattani meta, though at least in this case while the ship is the same the lists aren't identical. Moving forward as we start getting to Regionals the idea of Nym everywhere is not a great one to some of us. Also, people are regularly dismissing Nym as easy to kill despite the fact that the results to date don't back that up.

Is Nym an auto-win for everyone in every case? Clearly not, since every Nym list didn't go undefeated in Swiss at every National tournament. A superior pilot without Nym has a chance against a lesser pilot using Nym. Is Nym doing incredibly well and winning a disproportionate amount of events immediately after release? So far, yes. When two really good pilots face each other, the one with Nym has so far won more often than the one without. That's it, that's all the dog I have in this fight. Good pilots are losing to Nym, Nym isn't actually a super easy to kill ship when you know the trick of him and only beats inferior pilots, as the post I replied to tried to claim. Good pilots are saying he's too strong, you can't dismiss all the podcasters and posters opinions that Nym is too good as crying. Anything more than that, dunno. Worst meta ever, worst power creep ever, etc? I don't claim that yet. I will say looking into the next vassal league every list decision I make has to start and end with "will it consistently beat PS 10 Nym+wingman played by an equal player", and the answer for a large number of list ideas so far seems to be "probably not". Against a superior player, naturally, the answer is looking like "no" for everything haha. There seems to be no magic bullet against a really well played Nym.

Best option for me, hardly an expert, seems to be out PS and try a cruise missile alpha strike, hoping to wipe Nym off the board turn 1 of firing and have enough left to win against the wingman. RAC with Kylo and palp seems to be the other option, making Nym PS 0 and abusing Kylo and palp's ability to keep 2 ship lists down with blinded pilot crits long enough to get ahead and stay ahead, while RAC gushes MOV depending on who the wingman is.
