Block + Resilience + Specialisation:Block

By Daedalum, in WFRP Rules Questions

If a character Resilience trained and also taken the Resilience Specialisation:Block, does this have an effect on their pool when blocking. I'm assuming that it would due to the correlation of the traits. If so what kind of dice would it add, usually Specialisations add a white dice, but that wouldn't help if blocking! would it add a black die?

So like this:
Action Card: Block - add 1 black dice
Resilience trained - add 1 more black dice
Resilience Specialisation:Block - add a final black dice.

If it doesnt work like this what does Resilience Spesialisation:Block do? and when would it be used?

think this was covered somewhere previously, but i believe it is going to be a requirement of an advanced improved block action card.

it doesn't add black dice to the block action currently, although it can add white dice to an action where a block specialisation might apply, such as a opposed strength test to prevent someone from getting passed you, perhaps.

See Specialisation: Active Defences, FAQ, page 6

Wait, where does it say the enemy gets any misfortune dice for Resilience trained? Isn't that for opposed checks only?

If I remember correctly it says so on the card itself.

Ah right, silly me :D Thanks
