If you have sufficient useage of it, it wins you games
It works well with Shields to Maximum since you can usually recover the transferred damage pretty easily. But it doesn't work well against big hits obviously.
I used with 3 torpedo hh and really payoff it in several games I love this tittle
Shields to max+4XTFA hh-s worked Just fine for Me, i could survive an isd front arc 9 dmg.

Hammerheads are very weak vs squads. TFA helps limit the problem to an extent. Works well with Shields to Max (too bad I hate the Pelta).
3+ HH and it works
Sounds like it's best with more ships (I'm looking into a 4xHH list). But how is it without Shields to Max? I'd rather not take a Pelta.
It's still pretty good. Especially when you can turn a damage card into merely shield damage on another vessel.
I am going to be very surprised if one mc-75 doesn't have a fleet command slot. That'll save you from taking a pelta. Less room for hammerheads though!
Very situational.
Most battles, I kill the HH with a single shot that does at least 1 damage in excess of what was needed to kill it.
In this case, the title would do nothing except create extra damage on top of killing the ship.
Ive tried it once and it was pretty successful.
But at 3 points its expensive, and as people have pointed out, it doesn't help when an ISD 2 runs over you.
Useful when you have 3+ HH. And Shield to maximum is cherry on the cake.
If the rules interpretation is that you can use it multiple times on 1 attack (e.g. 3 times with 4 HH) then I think it's worth it. If it's just once then I can't help compare it negatively with Major Derlin (7 pts to stop 1 damage/turn vs 6 to move it to the other HH).

If you have a clean hammerhead, that is generally meaning at least 6 damage and an acc (If not more depending on angle of attack)
At long, it's typically even worse now you have to take out the brace.
if you are scratching up the heads before a kill shot, then yes, it may seem to not help /- but well managed title usage is still decreasing your odds of that kill shot each time.
Is Organa worth it?
or are Hammerheads worth it? Everytime I play hammerheads or Nebs for that matter, I think, " I could have had a CR90, or MC30 or flotilla or more squadrons..." they never seem to perform as well, move as well or do much of anything except die when you get close.
Well, I can't speak of all the options... But a Hammerhead Torpedo with Antilles and Racks is still cheaper than a CR90B with Engine Techs, let alone the Cr90A with Turbolasers.
And I generally can't buy more squadrons. The 1/3rd rule won't let me
But the whole point with Hammerheads is never to take one of them... One with Garels
might
have the
potential
to threaten some Flotillas (ie, note what its ramming into on its Tile Card! BE A BULLY!), but really, you need to be taking them enmasse, so at long range you can evade and tilt around any damage you DO receive, and then in close, just be too much to kill befor eyou get your damage off...
If your HH's aren't performing you're not flying them properly ?
My two cents, but I far prefer Organa over Antilles, and I've had much more success with it in casual games and at a tournament. I've tried the Pelta with Shields to Maximum + Antilles Hammerheads thing too and was very disappointed by it. I think just keeping a tight Organa formation is the way to go.
