After reading Isawa and using her it occurs to me you can add Seeker of Knowledge to an attack and theoretically trigger 3 rings effects - Air Void and whatever ring you chose, so long as the rings aren't air or void.

If this is accurate, would Kaede and other future phoenix effects mean triggering 3 or more rings at a time?

On first glance I would have to agree with your assessment and also agree that 3 or more ring triggers down the line is possible.

For reference, here are the two abilities.

Seeker of Knowledge - While this character is attacking, the contested ring gains the element. If this character wins the conflict as an attacker, you may choose which of its ring effects to resolve.

Isawa Kaede - While this character is attacking the contested ring gains the element. If this character wins the conflict as an attacker, instead of choosing an element to resolve, resolve each of that ring's effects.

It looks like you have the potential for three if you chose the Fire, Water, or Earth Ring.

I don't see why not. After all, the whole deal with Phoenix is futzing with the rings. I am incredibly excited by the prospect.

We just need a card that gives a ring the earth element and another for water and then Kaede can swing for Fire and form Captain... I mean Isawa Planet.

Or any other combination of adding 2 of water/earth/fire and swinging for the 5th. Actually, That would be a neat sort of way to add enlightenment to the game [I know, it isn't going to be a thing probably, and if it is it wouldn't be a Phoenix only thing probably], triggering all 5 rings in one attack! But ya, she has some fun potential. I can understand why they did not include her in the evergreen core.

Another question about Kaede's ability. If you choose Void as an element of the conflict, do you resolve twice with Kaede's ability?

No, since the Ring only gains the Void element, not another instance of the Void ability. It may be Void twice, but it still only has one ability.

I think we can all agree what should be the common logic here, but we NEED to see how FFG will phrase it. Currently there is nothing in FFG's RRG about this and it's all player's phrasings and interpretations.

BTW I asked the same question about a Week ago ( or more) to Nate via the official form + a few more interactions ( i.e. if Kaede will trigger Seeker Initiate when we have Seeker of the Void ) and didn't receive any reply yet.

When will it happen FFG? When?
