Well this is getting messy...

I still don't understand what happened on the previous day, but we have learned a few things by now:

-Gink was Cult-aligned fisherman, which means he must have been recruited 1st night by someone (more on this later)

-Ovi was town (but now he's dead), so I would also like to see explanations from Broba and Onidsen

(btw, Norell, I retract my suspicions. Whatever you are, it's not scummy)

So now we're hunting for a cult leader. Wonderful. Got any ideas where to look? This time at least we know there's a cult now rather than finding out only when it's too late...

Yep. Fisherman seems to be the default, and so if we're dealing with a cult, they could have fishermen too.

Good morning @Madaghmire. Are you town? Am I? Got a fair bit riding on the hope that you werent cult leader/scum D1 and were under enough heat you didnt get turned. If you are town I hope you were able to have a productive evening.

@CaribbeanNinja is lying. Additionally, bringing up the Jedi mind tricks from game 1 was exactly how we, as scum, caused enough confusion to win that game. Town shouldnt fall for it again.

Come to think of it, he would be a very good target for the cult conversion because of being confirmed now. Gonna have to watch that.

As far as other thoughts go, I am unsure about the night kill. Could have been mafia, could have been a vigilante.

I'm leaning towards a vig kill personally, but that's mostly based on the lack of a kill n1. Feels like a fisherman who fished a 1 shot kill ability.

I'd say I had at least twice as productive an evening as I had the previous night. Could you elaborate a little more on why you think Ninja is lying? At this point both of you have given me cause to believe them.

Intriguing. Well if thats true, we can at least rule out that it was JJ who fished up the gun. But whoever did take the shot killed a townie.

Its even possible it was Ginkapo.

Sorry, I shoud have explained more but was driving. I am strongly suspicious that he is lying because of his inclusion if the mind trick excuse, as that was the lie we told in my first game as scum to cover our missteps and it won. At best it is an element of confusion that we shouldn't be bringing into the game as it causes us to second guess everything we know and at worst it is a lie. I dont know, but either way it is incredibly detrimental to town.

Why would someone roleblock Cninj? What has he done to deserve that so far this game? He has been a front runner for day lynch.

That said, my action last night was to visit cninj based on the hope I could mend our fences and hunt scum cause I was almost convinced he was just town fixed in a vendetta, but this is literally the worst thing he could say to make me believe he is scum.

@CaribbeanNinja needs to either snap out of the vendetta and start being productive for town, or my vote will stay where it is because if he is cult leader then he needs to be lynched today .

He did say he has something valuable for town, and hinted at a syringe (however unbelievably) so maybe scum didn't want to take chances?

Your claiming to visit him seems rather convenient - how did you do that? What was the result?

So you visited Ninja last night and he claims to have visited you. And you are both coming out of the gate gunning for each other. Odds are one of you is lying. My gut says Ninja, but the evidence is not in your favor. He was the first one of claim something was off and you were in on the Norell vote.

Mad knows what my visits do and can confirm i am not lying about my ability to visit and have no reason to lie about visiting ninja. He also knows how important it is for us to lynch him today if he is cult leader and i visited him in error.

My attemp was to not come out of the gate hard against ninj. I visited him, as i did mad, to hopefully get rid of the suspicion and prove i cannot be cult leader.

However, ninjas accusation this morning is so scummy i feel i may have misjudged him when i thought him clear.

I had an effect last night, which I assume was Broba since he had alluded to (and by alluded to I mean claimed to) having visited me. I'm assuming it has a delayed effect if he's claiming to have visited CNinja last night, and it fits that crazy interaction we had.

The ability gave me a second action for the night.

Anything about it that would have led to think it was hostile? Anything that would have led you to Ninja's conclusion?

Its funny because I didn't even accuse Broba at all. I just gave y'all what I got.

First night, I lucked out and got a MGlass.

Second night I investigated Broba.

I got no result, and was told something like we should all know who it was anyway.

Im totally fine with being hammered. That will prove it.

Ok, I think we need to walk off the ledge here then. Are you getting the same benefit tonight as Mad reported? If so, I'm inclined to think Broba is just some kind of powerful town role that causes funky results when you target him.

Well, let me throw things into the fire here. (Including my own ***)

1) Ovi was my doing.

2) I'm not a Fisher. I'm a Hunter. Town Aligned 2-Shot Vigilante. Ovi was my first successful shot. With the way he jumped after Gink, I made the (now incorrect) assumption he was in on the Cult.

3) I tried shooting BrobaFett night one, because of the way he jumped on Mad. With the perfect shot lined up, I paused but a moment and decided he wasn't who I was here for, and didn't shoot.
