Enforcer-class picket cruiser with Ardus Kaine & the Pentastar Alignment for Empire

By Vector, in Star Wars: Armada

One of the best aspects of the Legends canon was Ardus Kaine and the Pentastar Alignment and it would be great to see them in some form within Armada. What about introducing the Enforcer-class picket cruiser for Empire together with Ardus Kaine and the Pentastar Alignment?

The Enforcer-class picket cruiser was a starship built in a joint venture between Sienar and Kuat exclusively for the Pentastar Alignment, a splinter remnant of the Galactic Empire formed after the Battle of Endor. The Enforcer was 600 meters in length and built on the frame of an Interdictor-class heavy cruiser with the gravity wells removed and the power generators moved to their place. The generator positions and re-arrangement of the ship's power grid significantly enhanced its weapons, shields, tractor beams and engines, making it a remarkable ship for its size. The ship also had the Pentastar Alignment logo emblemized on the sides of its command tower.

Though the only known visual depiction of the ship can be found in Star Wars Adventure Journal 3, based on the ship's description it shouldn't be hard to produce a physical depiction of it for Armada.

It's possible having Ardus and any Pentastar related upgrades could give Empire ships an advantage in battle.

Pentastar is cool, but as far as gameplay opportunities, the Dreadnought would offer more I think. The Enforcer would be right in the middle of the Arquitennes, Victory, and Interdictor and be another wedge shaped medium base ship heavy on the frontal arc.

I'm fairly certain anything put out by FFG from now on is going to be based off the new movies, Rebels, or the OT. I don't think we are going to see much based off the prequels or the old Legends canon. Just a feeling, judging off what they have been putting out lately.

SO let's hope someone finds the Katana Fleet :D

It's virtually identical to the Vindicator-class cruiser, for which there are third-party models (painted) and cards.

Ardus you say? Is he going to be able to use the Crit abilities of friendly ships at Distance 1-3? :D (it's a Runewars reference)

Possibly, but unless they were to introduce FO and Resistance as either full or sub factions to Armada, right now there's very little chance of seeing a new GCW era ship from the films with Han Solo coming out 2018 and the next anthology film after in 2020.

I'm hoping there's at least a chance of virtually seeing every possible ship in the game. Both Dreadnought and Enforcer plus more I'm hoping we'll eventually see, just a chance also to see Kaine and the Alignment make some sort of appearance.
