"Impressive MOST Impressive" however i will wait tell it comes out on Blue ray...... that way i can watch like 7 episodes in a 1/2 hour..lol

Anyone notice there was an awful lot of lightning featured in this trailer? Green lightning, blue lightning..... again and again. Wonder if that is just the cut or if it is going to be a feature of this season.

Also, yay for big space battles. They just have to tread a super fine line of having battles that feel impressive in scale but also all of them be defeats for the rebels while not having the show be depressing for kids.

Well back in the Legends canon one of the major reasons ships like the TIE Defender never saw widespread usage is that the Imperial admirals had no idea what to do with them. The use of capital ships such as Star Destroyers as the lynchpin of a fleet with fighters as support was so deeply ingrained into Imperial Navy tactical thought that they simply weren't properly able to grasp the implications and possible uses of a totally independent starfighter, so they dismissed it. Additionally there was the fear that if hyperdrive-capable starfighters became more prevalent, there would be less of a need for Star Destroyers. And the admirals REALLY loved their Star Destroyers.

You do realize Forces of Destiny is meant for little girls right? I am guessing you aren't a big Frozen fan either. Disney is huge media company. Not everything they make will appeal to you.

This is the final season of Rebels however they aren't going to shut down that studio. Instead they will start another animated series. Other than there will be one, there is no information on what that new series will be. Forces of Destiny is something completely different and intended for a different audience and is a vehicle to sell barbie doll style star wars toys.

Based off of Filoni's track record the first season of whatever is made will probably be a little rough but will become better a season or two in, just like with Rebels and Clone Wars. As much as a GCW show would be amazing I think they might instead try to go with a lead into TFA or the ST timeline to try and push that brand and era. Hopefully after Rebels ends we might get some kind of teaser in Rebels Recon for the last episode.
