Some really good starship battle scenes in it, really want Thrawn and i want him NOAW!!!!!!! lol

Looks like the Death Star is why the TIE Defender fails.

I like this reasoning. I mean, it fits the very idea of the Empire. The Empire didn't view a small fighter as having much meaning in the grand scheme of things (which makes sense when you view it from the perspective of just blowing up the planet they're based on). They are used more like sheep dogs, to herd ships, and deal with petty annoyances, than to really fight. So if facing the choice of an expensive fighter that actually gets the job done and takes control out of your hands (the ships could travel in hyperspace, making defection far too easy), or a project that essentially makes all other weapon systems redundant and will keep order just by existing? Yeah...makes more sense than just "Well, they cost too much."

October 16th it is...

More excited for this than I am for The Last Jedi. This looks really good and will hopefully piece everything together nicely!

This needs to end directly before the Battle of Scariff....

So... the X-Wings. The green paint job. In the Legends EU, the green stripes were associated with the CorSec.

Any chance that these could have been provided by a Corellian Rebel cell?

Maybe. It is mentioned in the Battle of Scarif that several green squadron X-Wings were there in the fight. In rebels we do see Green Squadron Y-Wings in an episode, so they might just make the switch over to X-Wings as an upgrade. Which I think might be more plausible to fit Rebels than introducing CorSec. But I'm just speculating. I'm happy to finally see X-Wings and more than the Lothal cell :)

The wolves look dumb. No need for giant spirit wolves.

Defender with yellow looks hot.

Awesome!

They put together a very well done trailer

Agreed

Based of previous interviews and the like the show won't end on Scariff or cover it, they want the two to stand on their own it seems.

Filoni will slip in wolves when he can, it is the reason why Commander/Captain Wolf shows up so much in Clone Wars.

No. After Scarif. I want to see Scarif - Yavin from the Rebel's perspective. I look forward to the explanation as to why they are at one but not the other.

Ha. Tarkin bossing Thrawn around. "I have a far more cost effective command ability than you do!"

It...."sort of" does. Interviews indicate the end of the series 'flows into the events of Rogue One'. Doesn't necessarily mean it ends before Scarif (indeed, it seems it doesn't, although I'm not sure how they'd pull that off - Filoni has argued that it wouldn't be right for the story arc of 'Rebels' to end at Scarif, as it both makes no sense to require viewing 'Rogue One' to understand the end of a different series 'Rebels'...and if it WAS to be their final show, they would have had more presence in the movie that they just had cameos in. Still, the series obviously ends right about that time frame, so....*shrugs*. Guess we'll find out soon!)

Season 4 of Rebels does look like a heck of a lot of great material for X-Wing, no doubt! Saw's "Partisan" paint-scheme U-Wing? Green squadron X-Wings? Another TIE Defender paint scheme? Nevermind all the Scum ships we'll likely see...

Yeah, that's all pretty good for X-Wing.

For 'Armada'? I see nothing, there. Not even any new commanders/crew we aren't about to get. TLJ, though - we've already had announced 2 more First Order capital ships, in addition to the one we already saw in Force Awakens. And we now know a Resistance capital ship, as well. Looking more and more likely that the 'sequel trilogy' era is going to be a bigger source for Armada ships than the TV series will be...

Also, that was the C-ROC near the end right? Here comes our favourite dodgy dealer!

I am liking the TIE/In with Thrawns desires and Krennic's resource demands.

Rebels is a great show, I'm excited not only for it's final season, but the future show that will also be announced to follow up after this.

It's not going to cover the clone wars, it likely will be covering the Galactic Civil war starting after episode 4.

Think of how much material you could cover between ANH and ESB alone.

For example, what happened with that bounty hunter on Ord mantell that convinced Han Solo he needed to leave the rebellion?

This internal divide between Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera is really intriguing me. I wanted more of it from Rogue One, so I'm glad to see it here. And did they bring in Forrest Whitaker to do the voice, or is it just a sound-alike?

Please be Rogue Squadron. Please be Rogue Squadron. Please be Rogue Squadron....

Wow, actually yeah, Rogue Squadron would be fantastic.

Other than the X-Wings, this trailer couldn't make me nearly as exited as I was before the previous season.

Rebels S1 was sometimes painful (wookies' design...) and more "childish", but then this show became better and better. New season's going to rock! Can't wait!

But... what are we going to do/see after the final season :(
