K2 had at least about 30 mins of screen time, numerous lines, flew a U wing (saving everyone's a$$) and then sacrificed himself to buy some time for Jyn to steal the plans to the DS.
But we have Boshek who had about 2 seconds of screen time, no lines and a post-hoc EU background- like a certain toilet seat flying toilet paper headed bounty hunter).
Give us our heroes!!

They didn't know how big he was going to be when they got the development information for the U Wing and there's not been another Rogue One era Rebel ship since.
It's annoying that he isn't in the U Wing but we've known that for most of a year now, can people get over it already?
What would his ability be? Crash ship sarcastically?
If we get a "Heroes of Scaarif" or "Founders of the Alliance" or some such pack with updated T-65s and Y-Wings, we will get K2. Unlikely to see him before then.
Such a pack could be mirrored by that Imperial death trooper transport and come with some cards for the striker (like a title or mod that gives it a bomb slot).
Also, his ability would have to be something we didn't really see to full effect in the movie, because in a ship he's nothing special (as a pilot just slap his picture on a Blue Squadron Pathfinder. He can fly, but we never saw anything particularly great).
As a crew card, maybe some of the following ideas:
1) something navigator related
2) playing off of his side-seat driving through the rocks: if you collide with an obstacle you may still take an action, debris doesn't give you stress?
3) playing off his "do you want to know the odds she will use it on you?": 3PO but for attack dice
4) playing off his former Imperial droid aspect/hacking stuff: "at the end of the planning phase, nominate one ship at range 1-2. The controlling player must tell you either the speed or bearing of the ships chosen maneuver" (that also synergizes well with cassian crew)

We have seen this thread many times before however that doesn't mean we don't need a patch box ala HotR to cover the holes in the original release left by the lack of info FFG had access to. It would let them fix the U-Wing as well as add him and the other missing members as pilots and/or crew.
It'd also be cool to see Chirrut as crew, his ability could be: after you perform an attack which does not hit choose an enemy ship at range 1-2 other then the defender, that ship must discard all focus and evade tokens.

K-2SO is one of my SW favorites, from any era.
I'd like to see him get some form of synergy with Cassian's pilot ability. Maybe something like, "Once per turn, when a stress token is removed from a friendly ship at range 1-2, that ship may acquire a target lock."
Based on the movie, I think his crew ability needs to be able to do something to sacrifice himself to save others and his pilot ability should be some kind of SLAM.
Maybe his pilot ability could be 'you flip Pivot Wing before you execute your manoeuvre instead of after'.
So we can get a U Wing that actually works.

It's not like BoShek (an OT character) came out in the Quadjumper (a TFA) ship.....

Action: once per turn, roll a [dice type?], if the result is [focus], remove one face down damage card. then receive a stress.
