Star Wars Dreams

By TheHumanHydra, in X-Wing Off-Topic

I realize I've had countless Star Wars-themed dreams over my lifetime. I find dreams fascinating and hilarious. What are your Star Wars dreams?

Excluded: Anything NSFW, daydreams instead of real dreams (i.e. you controlled any of it).

Last night I had dreams of two scenes from the classic films, of course altered because they were dreams. The first was of Obi waking up Luke and then them overlooking Mos Eisley. Then Luke went down to make peace between two groups of, you know, Star Wars fringer riffraff. I think Obi-Wan congratulated him on maturing. Then Han was observing the approach of the AT-ATs on Hoth instead of that random dude. I think he swore.

This was followed by a dream about Dengar and an ebon-skinned Twi'lek woman battling on speeder bikes. Their guidance vanes locked and they began to wrestle (with a blaster) atop the bikes. Dengar downed, but didn't kill or capture, her. Then there was something about a Lego version of Kylo Ren's and some other lightsabers -- the Twi'lek carried Kylo's. Dreams are weird. This took place in my childhood home's driveway (where my brother, our best friend and I would sometimes play make-believe Star Wars. It helped that our dad's flatbed trailer had two forward prongs just like the Millenium Falcon's).

A couple weeks ago I also had a dream that Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator was a ship in X-Wing. Even though it's era-bending, I do hope this one comes true!

I used to daydream of the Falcon landing in my back yard and Han yelling at me to hurry up and get on board, we don't have much time. Awesome adventures ensued.

I often dream of having telekinesis, usually moving objects, not so much the blunt force push that was so popular in the Clone Wars. Not really Star Wars related but...kinda?

That's interesting. I once actually tried using telekinesis (when I was a child). The chair wouldn't lift, no matter how hard I tried, and I gave in to the Dark Side and became angry.

...kinda jealous now, my Star Wars dreams have always been in the position of "watching a movie", not participating in the universe.

And the one that I remember the most involve just standard scenes out of the OT, only with one line of dialog or background detail slightly off, and nobody noticing but me... And it bothering me super bad

...part of this might stem from the fact that my first set of SW movies were VHS recordings off of an extremely scratched Laser Disc, (think CD the size of an LP, seriously), which I watched incessantly as a kid. For years I was utterly convinced that Admiral Motti, in the Death Star conference room in A New Hope; was literally saying " Any attack made by the RepRepRep --inst iss station --d'bee ~*`oooseless."

I also thought the sandcrawler rolled up the dune, then back down, then up again, about three times really fast. Felt weird when I first saw an undamaged copy.

This is hilarious.

Here's another childhood story: one time my brother and I were at our best friend's house across the street. He went to use the washroom, and did not emerge for some time. Apparently he had sort of forgotten we were there ... he had been imaging Star Wars space battles the whole time.
