Fleet feeling a bit stale...ideas?

By ImperialCaptain2017, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Hi all,

So I've been running this fleet for a little while, and I'm kind of bored with it now:

I'd like to build a new list with my ISD, but I'm not quite sure where to go with it.

Here's what I've got:

Core, ISD, GSD, Raider, Squadrons 1, Squadrons 2, Gozantis, Arquitens, Quasar

Also have: 1 Firespray and 1 Jumpmaster with cards, 2 extra Interceptors, 1 extra Lambda, Ciena Ree and Saber Squadron (cards), a bunch of AA Rapid Reload, as well as LS, X17s, TRCs, & APTs.

Ideas?

Try a long range ISD! Most people are using that ISD that you currently are and I see that it is strong, but for 1 attack that you that you have to burn to close range for and may or may not have rolled a lot of damage. But if you want to change it yo you just gotta do something different, so long range ISD, with close range small support ships so a Demolisher and a Raider or swap raider for Arq for more long range, most people would Target Demolisher first and you would just keep blasting them with red Dice until he gets close enough!

Maybe using a ISD-2 with Quad Battery Turrets, LS, Needa, that kind of stuff?

Need a trc works really well on devastator giving you another way to spend your defense tokens. I think trc on the arqs and Needa trc on the isd would be pretty fierce.

Second fleet is much better. Fleets tend to feel stale when they only have 1 method of killing things, namely the ISD. Multiple threats is much more refreshing and gives a lot of different games as you adapt constantly.
