In that case, yes, that looks like the dreadnaughts I remember being drawn when Dark Force Rising was released.

Like others have said, yes the Dreadnaught in the background. The freighter in the hangar bay is the YT-2000. (Which ALSO could make it to Armada potentially).
And yes, I know they re-use art from time to time and art isn't firm confirmation of anything.... but it gives us hope!

Possibly, but its not a given, just because a partially shown dreadnaught is on a Destiny card. FFG do like to unify things though.
The fact that the YT-2000 is front and centre is more interesting. In a future XW wave maybe?

Possibly. This is the first time I've seen a Dreadnaught in one of the games I play, so this took me by surprise in my last video. I was looking at it live and practically lost my mind.

I just made a post about the Dreadnaught Class. I'm so happy to see this, would be amazing to see them added.
Nice catch. I had my doubts but I am now 100% convinced the Dreadnaught is one or two waves away.
Maybe a dual faction wave? Dreadnaught and Nebulon-B2?
FFG is getting dangerously close to releasing every possible ship I might want. Then what?

Well, I suppose they introduce some truly amazing stuff in Rebels, or in the new trilogy? Maybe a side show, dealing with Ezra's future on the outskirts of the Galactic Civil War? Maybe he discovers Palpatine had a backup fleet somewhere and goes to work against it? We end up seeing dozens of new ships we hadn't yet seen - some of them transform like Mega Maid?

New Waves of Armada are built on hope...and I hope to get an Assault Frigate mk1 some day.

It would be awesome to have more varied designs for the Rebels - more thematic.

I like that people are freaking out about the possibility that the dreadnought will be released because of a background image while the SSD has been in the background image of the defender for a year now with nothing...
